InuYasha DVD's

Post by Super Cell »

Hey guys, I was looking around online for InuYasha DVD's to buy, and I saw that there are many different types of DVD's for InuYasha. But I was wondering what is the difference for each of these DVD's for sale?
I think they are all Uncut but I'm not sure. I hope they are though.

Here are the links to each of the DVD's for sale.

The first link is a bootleg.

The second link is of the Official North American release by Viz, and is the first Inu Yasha DVD, containing the first 3 episodes.

The third link is the official North American Viz release of the first season, as a boxset.

And the first link was looking so promising too....

I wonder why they even sell those FX DVD's if they are bootlegs?

Looks like I'm sticking witht eh season box set then.

If you don't mind english dub TV version then you can find the first box set at
Walmart for around $30-$35 dollars.

Back when I was an avid bootleg shopper I used to purchase FX dvds all the
time. They were the 'cream of the crop' for bootleg dvds. I still have my old
bootlegs but never buy then anymore. I download fansubs instead. :dgrin

discountanimedvd.com sells bootlegs.

www.rightstuf.com does not (also Best Buy, Suncoast, etc).

I would recommend buying the box sets as they come out. Since it is cheaper than buying individual dvds, but you'll have to wait a while.

They have season 1 marked down for now.

but the others are still full price. I only buy when they have VIZ 40% off sales, but again you just have to wait until that happens.

I looked at discountanimedvd.com and all of the DVD's with "IMPORT" are cheaper and probably bootlegs.

SO! basically, do NOT buy imported DVD's.

And I do like the deal for $69.99 for the first season a lot!

How long should that deal last?

It's on the weekly special which started March 8, so I'd assume it ends in a week, which would be til this Thursday, just to be safe. There are items on the special which have been listed for months now though. :shrug

wow, that's a lto shorter than I thought. I'll probably get it then, since it's such good deal.

Then I have to wait for the other 2 seasons to go on sale.

not to mention the next 3 seasons lol!

Oh just a little info that might be useful if you decide to buy from RightStuf, if your order is over $49 then you get free shipping. It's slower than priority, but it's free, and most states probably won't notice an obvious difference in length of time.

(it takes a few weeks to get to hawaii, but shipping costs to hawaii are so high that it's well worth the wait to get the free shipping)

free shipping! wow, I'm liking this RightStuf place more and more now. I know discountanimedvd is free shipping if you spend over $99, but $49, wow! That's a really good deal. I live in Calif, so I would think it shouldn't take too long to be delivered here.
