Thanks so much, everyone, for the birthday wishes. (I'm still recovering from the Aya and Sanzo goodness Vapalla and Kata sent my way ... and Kymaera's fish cake was ... um ... "something else"

I had a really good birthday. Not too many cels, although I recently got a few things I consider birthday/Easter gifts to myself. Nothing spectacular -- some TnN and a Samurai 7 fancel ... but I like 'em. Of course, they are all "in transit", so it'll be a while before I see them in person.

I had a very quiet, lazy day. I woke up faced with all kinds of housework calling my name, and decided to do none of it. Instead, I took my kiddo on a nice, little outing to the bookstore for dessert and in search of the newest Saiyuki Reload graphic novel. We didn't have any success on the manga (poo!

), but dessert was nice, and we both had a good time. Then, in the evening, I had a quiet dinner out with the hubster and the kiddo. Not the wild and wacky birthday shenanigans most people have, I guess ... but, I am old, so I have to pace myself.
