Nice stuff...especially the Gene cel. I just recently rewatched Outlaw Star for the first time in years. With the rough animation in many of the episodes, I know it can be tough to find well-drawn cels from the series, but you definitely scored three of them.

Beautiful update, HotIce! The Gene cel, especially, is fantastic. But, I ove the Melfina and Fred cels, too. Each of them has such a wonderful sense of emotion and expression. Congrats on your new additions!

That's a great update Hotice! I like all three. I am really fond of interesting foreshortening like that in the Melfina cel. The Gene is a perfect shooting cel.The Fred just makes me laugh.

I never thought I'd sell 'em either, Blueheaven. But with things changing for me, I want to make absolutely sure that my cels will be somewhere that they're ogled and appreciated, and really, I know these two couldn't possibly have a better new home.

Your updates are never small but always fantastic. I can't believe all of the OLS you've been hoarding! You have stunning cels of every major character, that's quite an accomplishment.

I know how long you've been desiring a decent shot of Fred, but to snag such a spot-on perfect portrait is more than any collector could hope for! You're quite the lucky lass

I absolutely love the perspective on the Mel cel, the foreshortening is fabulous! Quite dynamic, having the BG really helps a great deal too. Her expression is also very lovely.

It's nice when cels remain within the Beta family and when cels receive a loving home. Congratulations on the stellar new additions. You never cease to impress!

On a side note, when did you add series information to your categories? I have no clue how in the world I missed such an obvious thing, but I really like it! I've been contemplating doing something similar myself. I may just copy you after all. You've truly built an amazing shrine to your favorite anime. Keep up the good work!

Wendy - first I'd like to say a big Welcome back to beta! *hugs* it's good to see you back around here again hehehe, if you would have won him I would have been stalking him in your gallery like I did Fred in Minions! lol. Now that's a scary though.

Kymaera - Thanks so much for your compliments, and yeah it can be really difficult to find nice cels from the series, but I like to think I have a pretty good collection showing off the better animation of the show. ^_^

vapalla - The foreshortening effect on Melfina is just wonderful, coupled with her expression just makes the cel beautiful! That cel of Gene w/his caster is nothing short of ideal for me... I -love- head on shots like that.

evilminion - thank you a million times over for the oppurtunity to adopt such wonderful pieces of art from my favorite anime! And thank you for the compliment, I don't think the could have found a better home either! I love 'em to bits! And I agree that Gene cel is definate "wow" ^_^

kira - Thank you kira! That episode is one of my favorites as well, with gene fighting in that womens tourney in drag! HA! So great. I find it hard to not love Fred.

The perspective of Melfina is absolutely stunning, and would you beleive that is NO BG, but actually another cel layer... yup that beauty is all paint and plastic! its so pretty.

i've had the series information up in my gallery since about 2 weeks after I did the make over of the gallery.

Squee!!!!! Those are the greatest!! I love, love the Fred cel, and the Gene is gorgeous as well. The Fred is just wonderful, though. He's such a fun character.
