Hello all! :D

Well, after letting it sit and collect dust for the last three years, I decided to resurrect my Rubberslug gallery and update everything. I've edited all my descriptions, so hopefully they're more intelligent and not as fangirly.

Of course, these last two years I've sold off all but a tiny handful of my miscellaneous titles, so my gallery's focus has turned entirely to Olba and Shagia Frost from After War Gundam X. Somehow it turned into a mini GX resource center, too, having a synopsis in the About page, and useful related Links. Please know, there are SPOILERS all over the place!

I 'spect only those of you interested in this not-so-popular Gundam series will bother visiting, but even still, here's my RS link:

http://categoryf.rubberslug.com/

If you do check it out, I hope you enjoy my small, character-driven cel collection! Maybe someday, in the far off future, I'll be able to make new purchases, but as of right now, these will remain the highlight of my collecting heyday.

Thanks for your time!
~ Heather

I am so excited to see you working on your RS gallery! And, it was such a wonderful realization to me to find out that you are the curator for Category F. I've visited your gallery many times in the past, but never knew it was you! How's that for a small world? :)

Needless to say, I love the gallery, and the changes you've made.

As a GX collector I can appreciate your collection and absolutely love your quad split cel of Olba, Garrod and the mech fight between them. Can't have a great GX collection without split screen cels 8)

Even though I do not know the series, your cels are absolutely stunning. :) You can tell just by looking that they are really special. Thanks for sharing!

It's great to see another of us from the early 2000 times pop up again. ^^ I miss everyone!

tex-chan: I'm guessing you originally went to Category F for the WK gallery, am I right? For some reason, all of a sudden, I've been kicking myself for selling most of those cels. But heck, one does what one must. Thank you for everything, though, sweetpea! *huggles*

glorff: Wow, I love your GX collection, too! That's an especially perfect cel of Willis-sama, and the trio of Wonder Kids is really cute. You know, I think I would like a cel of Caris, someday. Awhile back I talked myself out of getting the most gorgeous cel of him on YJ, and now I regret it; he has such an uplifting soul, and I liked his relationship with Garrod and Tiffa.

Yeah, I have this odd attraction to those split screen cels! I dunno why, but they're just so unique and seem to have more oomph than a single character cel. They seem harder to come by, though ...

Ryouko: Thank you, hon! It's not everyday I hear others call my cels "stunning" and I have to admit, it does feel good. Of course, I've also found them stunning, but it seemed people found my taste in characters a mite ... oddball. *shrugs* I appreciate the compliments, though, truly!

Tell me about it; I miss the old gang, too! It's sad to see everyone fading out of the hobby, but then again, I understand it, as well. Glad to see that you are also still around - I've always enjoyed visiting Picture Perfect! It has a lovely, organized layout and of course the cels are beautiful!

And you still have the mother of all Suboshi cels!! He was my favorite character in FY, as well. I liked Amiboshi since I do hold a special place in my fangirl heart for brother characters, but I liked how hardened Suboshi was.

Oh. I was so thrilled to see that you still have our Renhou and schoolboy Tomo cels! It's encouraging to find that they're in a permenant home, not changing hands all the time like so many cels. Okay, I'm guilty of that, too, but it's still nice to see.

Well, yes, that is true. :D Initially, I went there for the WK cels. But, I have been there since, and thoroughly enjoyed browsing, even though I know nothing about After War Gundam X. Your new descriptions, etc. have helped me out a lot in that "no nothing" aspect, as I now feel able to educate myself about the show. But, even without that, your gallery is still a pleasure to visit. Pretty artwork is just that -- pretty artwork. I don't think someone has to really know a show to enjoy looking at it.

I can totally understand your feelings now about having to sell off your WK cels. (Although I have to admit to being very selfishly thrilled to have the ones I purchased from you. I think that makes me a bad person, doesn't it? *nervous laugh* /swt)

I'll be honest, I have NO clue what so ever about GundamX (or any Gundam really.. please don't hit me)... but I will say the collection of cels you have from the series is just beautiful. I really love the split screen shots!

one of my favorite shots is this pan:

tex-chan: How'd I know! (LOL) Actually, I must admit to being rather stunned you went to look at my GX boys, too. It's always astonishing simply for the fact that the fan base is woefully teeny-tiny, and most people won't visit character sites they aren't familiar with. So kudos to you for learning about something (or in this case, someone) new!

Oh you! *thwaps Tex* You are most certainly not a bad person! Honestly, I'm thankful to you, and am tickled pink that those OVA fellas found their way into your gallery! Like I said to Ryouko, at least I know those cels will be a long time in their new home, and drooled upon regularly! I know they're with a diehard fan, and a real friend - and that makes all the difference!

Thanks again! *glomps*

kira: Aww, thank you! I'm glad to see so many people are pleased that the old thing is still breathing, with a new lease on life! :^^:

HotIce: What? You haven't seen any Gundam series! *rolls up sleeves and preps to beat HotIce* Nah, just kidding! But I guess that means I need to hold you down, glue your eyelids open, and force to you watch GX! (LOL)

Thank you for the compliments! Split screen cels are cool, aren't they? I wish I could find some more good splits of the brothers - I think my collection would be quite complete then! It boggles my mind that I never did find more; being telepathic, and moreso that they don't really talk to any other human beings, they had a ton of moments like that! Mind boggling, really ...

I'm glad you like my Shagia pan! That one always worried me because unless you've seen the show, those little blobs about him look really bizarre! He has a great arrogant look on his face, though, doesn't he? Thanks again!

Captain Haddock: Why, thank you kindly, Cap'n! :D While I wish I could offer a link where you could buy GX cheap, I'm afraid it was liscensed by Bandai years back, but they've never bothered to release it. So it's near impossible to find! You can get copies from Japan still, I suppose, but I don't know if they have English subtitles. Even my copy I got off eBay long ago only has Chinese subs. Perhaps fan subs are still around ...?

Glad you got your site back up! You have a great collection of the Frost boys! I like this cel for the contrast of Olba with a gun in the back and the flowers in the foreground. :)

Did you have a non-rs site at one point too?

Fan subs are still around! :D I watched half of Gundam X wayyy back when, and liked it, so I really should finish it up one of these days.

All the imports available are really bad, but here is a link to a guy that sells sfansubs on DVDs of unlicensed anime. I don't have time to dig up downloads, so I buy these. Hope it does not offend anyone's ethic, but some things are just not available any other way

syan: I appreciate the welcome back, and all the compliments! Yeah, that particular cel is pretty cool! I felt kinda silly buying it at first because Olba is all small in the layout, but when I received it, I was so pleased; there's so much minute detail from the shadow-light contrast, everything just pops out at you!

Oh, long ago I did have a non-RS gallery. That one was a shared site with my sister, "Finder", and was focused on our collective Weiss kreuz collection. I think we took that down even before the domain went under (Isotype-Newtype.com). I'm touched that you actually remembered it, though! :^^:

Thanks for the download link! I never could get BitTorrent to work right for me, having to wait on a seeder and all that. Plus I have a crappy dial-up connection, and feel guilty getting something for nothing. :x But I'm glad to see fansubs still active; from what I skim at Anime News Network, I thought companies were cracking down on them!

glorff: I agree, if there's no other way to see something, then fansubs are a Godsend! From time to time, I'll still buy bootlegs of foreign films on eBay if I simply cannot get an official copy anywhere else. You do whatcha gotta when you're a fan, right?

Thanks for the link! I hope this inspires new people to check out GX because it has such a woefully small fanbase, we could use more numbers and fresh faces!

Thanks so much for your lovely comments. ^_^ Both Suboshis will probably be buried with me. XD I had to fight way too hard to get them to ever let go! I don't know if I could pick a favourite twin between the two - I love them both so much, even after all these years.

I am so much in debt to you for the cels you've sold me. ^_^ Thank you so much! They receive much love every day. *^_^*
