To add more to the list, my entire Street Fighter section of cels were all $5.00 each out of the same "JUNK" pile at a table burried at the back of the dealers room at Akon 2004 that was selling something other than cels.

Seems it was my luck that everyone on YJ must have thought it was a fan cel except me for the seller scan cut off the cel # . I contacted the seller God_hand777 and got a better scan and was assured it was a production cel and after getting it found it's screen cap in the episode as well as the next episode intro in the previous episode.

I miss the good old days of YJ when not many people used it. The only big deputy was celga, and it was first come first serve - the person who emailed them first was the one who got to bid!
I was the only one who bid for it at the listing price of .99. However with shipping it turned out to be $10.49. Still I thought someone would fight me for it even though its not a "fantastic" cel it still is from a pretty funny scene and seeing Gon's Aunts face as she is bending his hard earned Hunter licence is priceless.

I think it would be safe to say that my entire Ayashi no ceres collection I got as a good deal, except for one or two that I paid a pretty penny for. haha
The seller did not scan in or take a picture of the entire cel, so it looked like an okay cel of Tooya that was cut off. When I got the cel i was VERY surprised and happy. now I am trying to find the cel that is shown right after this one but with Aki and Tooya in the background. I have found it.... I am hoping they will sell it one day.
ah yeah, I forgot to add how much I got it for. I paid 1,000 yen before any fees. it ended up being $18 with fees shipped from the seller to deputy service.
Ranma cels are often cheap, but the really nice ones can cost a pretty penny.

But this one, I was amazed no one bid against me!
Really pan, First Season, in excellent shape, sketch is old of course but in great condition considering it's age, and I got it for all of: $30! O_O

It came with like 4 other cels and had a BIN price of something like $120. I sold the others for more than $120 and kept that one. So its like i got it for free plus couple of bucks Ive seen couple from the same sequence sell for $400+ So it was kickass.
Yeah, I remember seeing that lot for sale and thinking, what is that guy doing, that Vegeta was obviously worth more than $120.00 even if the seller wasn't DB smart? I'm sure similar Baby-Vegeta's have sold for $1000.00 before on crazy days, still think you did very well there.

It probably should have been in my last update, but it turned up a bit late so it'll have to wait til next time. Anyrate, as I recall before deputy fees and postage were added, I won a hanken off YHJ for $10. I don't know if anyone knew what it was from, probably some obscure H-game, I'll probably never know. Just something I ran across and bid on that was posted in the wrong section.
Given how rare cels from the twilight of the dark master OVA are and that this cel was used in the DVD menus we practically stole it. The last time I saw a cel of him for sale it cost more than 10x what we paid for this one:
