Sketch Update - Nanoha and Maburaho

Post by rallihir »

Since I've been sitting here this Memorial Day with a nasty cold - Missed Fanime in San Jose as well as my families weekend retreat, I thought I'd spend some time scanning a few sketches.

Check out this sketch animation of Nanoha casting her ranged spell Axel Shooter

Axel Shooter

You'll have to click on the image to run the animation.

There is also a nice CCS cel from the 1st Movie and pan sketch of Rin from Maburaho.

And believe it or not, someone does win the NewType magazine give aways. In spite of never winning any giveaways, I managed to get the autograph of Saeki Shoji from NewTypes August 2006 giveaway.

Nice seeing your Nanoha animation. It looks pretty neat. It's a nice action sequence.

I enjoyed your Sakura and Rin too. :)

Not sure how those giveaways work, but glad to see you won the Saeki Shoji autograph.

Awesome job with the Nanoha Axel Shooter animation! The CCS Movie cel looks quite pretty.

When I see those names together, I instantly think of something else, so I had to backtrack to rallihir's post. ;)

lol...I hadn't even thought of that. :D

As someone else said - we are still are in dire need of a genuine Dark Sakura figure.

I was thinking a couple weeks ago that it's probably a good thing I never watched any of Nanoha or else it'd probably end up on my growing "I Wish I Watched This Earlier List". :hurt:

That's a great Rin pan cel. I also like the Nanoha animation. Though, for a few seconds, I didn't realize it was an animated gif since Rubberslug doesn't play it until you click on it. So, I was thinking "Umm...how can you even what sequences it's from with just those lines?" :emb

Hope you're over your cold/sickness. It's never fun to be sick. :(

As usual, your updates are stunning. I'm most impressed with the autograph. I don't have much in the way of autographs, but they've always interested me. Congratulations on the lovely new additions.

Arrigato mina-san for the positive comments. I'm beginning to ascribe to the "less is more" school of quality collecting. Hopefully this cold will have dissapated before my trip to Tokyo. I can't wait to see what the land of anime will have in store. At least I have my Ghibli Museum tickets. If I have the time before the trip, I'll post two more recently acquired hankens from the Princess Quest PC game. Otherwise, it'll have to be part of the post Japan/AX07 period. :)
