Well the stars must have been properly aligned, because all my packages arrived this weekend. Plus I was still able to pick up Nuriko today after missing the delivery this morning. Since I said I would mention when he arrived, here he, and some others, are. I still need to scan a bunch of OVA 3 sketches that arrived too (a couple 2 foot pans in the lot are going to be *fun* to scan )
Beautiful update!! I'm so happy you were able to get that Nuriko cel. It looks right at home with all of your other FY beauties. And, that Hotohori -- SWOON!! My gosh, but that is a pretty thing.
I saw the Nakago fancel when you updated it, and I've already visited it a few times in your gallery. It is beautiful!! Very typical of Keeper's work. She is one talented and wonderful lady.
I'm definitely a member of the I Love Keeper fan club now! I already framed Nakago, though I need to swap out the mat once I cut a new one. I just need to think of what to have done next if she opens up for commissions again.

Agreed! I hadn't watched much anime up to that point, so it was a WTF moment for me.
After Nuriko's death, I didn't feel much for Mitsukake's or Hotohori's (Hotohori love aside, that was the worst of all the deaths..it seemed meaningless). I felt sad at Chiriko's, but definitely not the tears like with Nuriko.
FY had so much death. Although I think I'm quite used to it as the old school anime I used to watch had main characters dying left and right. I remember watching Nuriko with my mom and she was moved to tears. That's why I like FY, lots of happy moments with my mom actually liking something anime. Now about your updates, I like your Nuriko the best of course! that fancel is lovely too. And now I know where that Hotohori went.

Though, had Watase killed off Chichiri or Tasuki, I would have been even sadder . . . or murderously enraged.

I've been eyeing that Hotohori for years, so I'm happy to add him to the collection. I do kinda like to horde cels of him.
