New Auction Site

Post by awajikiwi »

Hello,

Over the next couple of months I will be uploading items too this new auction site.

http://anicyo.com/auction/start.shtml

I believe a few of Yahoo's major dealers are going to move here too.

* At the moment they are not going to have an English site and only people in Japan can sign up. So I guess you will need to use a deputy service to purchase the items.

* Yes, I am working with anicyo to correct these problems.

Enjoy Stephen

Hmm...looks like I might have to learn how to do stuff all over again. :)

And just when I finally learned how to use YJ properly after seven years of use. :D

Does it work the way YJ does in that international shipping is up to the seller's discretion? Or do they block all international bidders regardless of Japanese skills?

A new auction site is fine to me just so long as there is enough deputy manpower around at the time it begins to be able to handle those of us who would want to bid on something there.

Being able to see something and having no way to try to get it brings back memories of the really Olden Cel Collecting Days. I found those situations one of the most frustrating of all. They were certainly more frustrating than:

1. Waking up late to bid on something and finding out that the auction is over.

2. Losing an auction for far less than you were willing to pay for it.

3. People that bid right up to your max and then stop right there.

4. People that bid in tiny increments and extend auctions for a very long time.

5. Seeing pictures of items you would have wanted to buy with SOLD written on them or near them.

In the above situations it was either:

1. Your fault you didn't get it
2. Someone else's fault
3. Bad luck on your part
4. Something you wouldn't have been able to get anyway because your timing was really wrong (it got posted at 3AM while you were sleeping or the item sold eight minutes after being posted, etc.).

Having nobody able to get it for you...THAT was frustrating. :^^:

When were they?

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Sorry at the moment I don't know.

You can't sign up without a Japanese address at the present time

If people are interested in bidding, Please let me know and I make the overseas sign up section on the top of the list.

I see a couple cels I would love to get my greedy hands on! I'd be interested in bidding myself, but my Japanese is extremely poor. :l

I signed up...but apparently it takes a couple weeks to finish up the signing up process to even bid. Costs more than keeping an ID on YJ, unless you pay annually.

I don't get why the auctions last almost 3 months... Although I do see something I like, cheaper than what was originally told to me but... not cheap at all... Hehehe I shouldn't complain and just save up for 3 months eh? :D ROFL....
