Evil is a kick.....! LOL!

Post by DevoVamp »

Hey, guys!
I thought you'd get a kick out of this. See, I'm having a sort of tiff with my neighbour across the lane. He moved in a couple of years ago with his wife and daughter, and now he seems to think that he own the WHOLE street, and can tell me what I should do with my yard and he tries to tell everyone else what they can and can't do and if they're making too much noise, etc. I won't go into all the details, but he once walked into the yard of the guy across the street from me and threatened to smash his teenaged son's stero if he didn't turn it down. This was in the middle of the afternoon and it wasn't loud, by the way.

He also doesn't like my dogs because they bark (hey, that's their job!) and I'm pretty sure he threw an egg at my window one night.

So, this weekend I decided to paint my kitchen cupboard doors (which is turning out to be a much bigger project than I thought it would be) so I took out my own portable stereo with a disk of music that I burned.

All the songs on it came from anime, themes from Bleach, Black Blood Brothers, Gintama, Blood +, Claymore, Gundam Seed, Darker than Black and Vampire Hunter D. You get the idea. Now, I didn't have the sound up as far as it would go, but it was fairly loud. My dippy neighbours could CERTAINLY hear it. The daughter was out in the back yard when I went out, I could see her on through the fence.

I was having fun, totally enjoying myself, and I thought: "Hey, I love all these songs so if I'm going to be stuck out here all day I want some music!"

Well, I hadn't been out there 10 mins when the wife looked out the window and gave me the fish eye. This was well after 11 am, on the Sunday of a long weekend. Their windows had been open when I went out, but at some point they ended up closed. Then one was opened again some time later.

At some point, they must have decided they didn't want to subject the daughter (who's school age, by the way, about 6 or 7) to my HORRIBLE music because sometime around 4 (I finished about 3 pm) the daughter came walking home with the grandmother!!

Now, who hates music so much that they'd send the kid to a different house to get away from it???

So, today when I was outside putting on the second coat they got round two!!!!! The father's too much of a chicken to come over and say anything because he knows I'll tell him to take a hike (amoung other things) and I'm pretty sure that he knows that if he DOES say anything, I'll be out there later with it turned up full, so he's too much of a coward to say anything.

I didn't really set out to annoy them, but since I did it's a nice little bonus!! I think I'll be out there with the stereo a lot this summer!!! LOL!

Anime music as a weapon of war!!! Who'd have thought it?? Evil is a bit of a kick, really!!!!

1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
