You know, I've stayed away from eBay for a LONG time (as far as selling cels goes)... just because almost every time I've put something up since I first started in 2002, in which case I had REAL bidders, all I've ever gotten is people like this.

People who bid on dbz cels like it's a game just to screw with collectors. Honestly, this news really ticks me off. I wanna ruin his WORLD. Arrrghh! What is the maximum I can do to him if he doesn't pay? Can't you get his ID banned?

Stuff like this is one reason I wanted out of this collecting scene. It's ridiculous. Your just dealing with a bunch of kids.

btw, this is my auction:

Hm... it will be inconvenient but if three people file a non-paying bidder complaint and succeed, he'll get suspended from Ebay. But then again he might sign up again with a new email.

I sent him an email, explaining my past experiences on eBay and how I will NOT tolerate anything else and I will not go easy on him if he doesn't pay and he retracted his bid. I told him the cel collecting community alerted me to this. Here is his response:
Hello,
What do you want to say with the cel collecting comunity? Tell me more please, and who tell you that.
For this cel, i was thinking if i keep this bid or no because i love this scene but the draw is not the better saw for me.
So i think i will cancel this bid.
If i kept this bid, i would pay you without problem, if community told you i ask payment plan is because it's more easier for me to pay in many times, but i'm serious ! :)
I can promise you i would buy you if i bought it ^^
For the feedback i'm new! and My feedback is in augmentation :), i can't have 100 feedbacks lol

For the Gokû Cel transforming in Super Saiyan, it always ok?

Thanks You

So i
Sounds like he is from another country, eh? I think his profile says France. Doesn't matter anyway because my auction states clearly that I will only ship to the UNITED STATES anyway.

That's a very, very good idea. Even if he does make another fake account, it would be worth it to ban this guy and cause him as much trouble as possible.

I'm glad you contacted other sellers about him Dro.

I've added the guy to my eBay block list since I plan to add more Dragonball
items for auction and don't want him bidding. Now I'm currently waiting for a
full payment to show up to me within the next 5 days or I will be reporting
him to eBay.

So why do people insist on P***ing me off? Now I have a problem with a
buyer who's complaining about shipping being to much for one cel and that I
need to send him a new invoice with the correct shipping. I'm really getting
fed up with people who think they can boss sellers around like this. Maybe if
he had asked politely instead of demanding I wouldn't have an attitude about this.

PEOPLE START READING THE AUCTIONS THOROUGHLY BEFORE BIDDING!

Apparently I'm going to have to get much stricter with my auction descriptions. :x
Thanks for listening to me vent.

Stand your ground and if they give you further
problems deal with them like a dead-beat bidder.

Honestly, where the fuck are these asswipes coming from??
Like they would really act like that inside a store in
r/l or haggle at a Macy's in a mall.

God ppl that use the internet

I don't get why bidders try to argue about shipping, especially after they've bid. >.<

The seller has stated a certain amount and that's that. Most often the shipping includes some sort of handling fee which goes towards packing materials and even car parking to post it.

I use the phrase "postage and packing" when I sell anything so the buyer knows not to expect the exact amount they paid to appear on the postage label.

Someone once asked me on an auction of mine (thankfully before bidding) why the shipping was so high (approx. £10). My answer: You are bidding on eight physical books- you know that, right? o.O

Kris, I'd just tell them where to go. XD And that you've given an accurate shipping cost so if they don't like it they shouldn't have bid since they agreed to pay the shipping listed when they bid.

Sorry to hear about all these hasslesome transactions you're having. >.<

Seriously, though, wasn't there a problem a while back with a certain bidder in France who was screwing over Sailor Moon cel sellers? Not that there's anything wrong with French collectors in general, but I'm just wondering if it could possibly be the same person. *shrug* It seems a little odd to me since Sailor Moon and DB are traditionally expensive series to collect from (or maybe it's only DBZ--I don't know the difference; sorry), so maybe it might be the same person.

at the end those European customer are giving bad credits for the others that want to buy cels. Must be hard for new European member on ebay that wants to buy a cel in US.

Anyway glad that he is no longer a registered user and Ebay has given you full credit, hopfully,

Thank you for posting this. I'll definately block him.

I was just about to file a UID against this guy but noticed he was no longer registered. No I have to file a UID anyway to get my money back for the listing fees. :l

And the other guy who was complaining about shipping hasn't emailed me back for a few days nor paid for his auction. It's been 7 days now so I don't know if I should file a UID or what. I thought there was an option for sending a payment reminder but where is it on eBay?
