AX 2007 and Tokyo Trip Cel Update
It's the AX07 update. In this update you'll find a new CCS hanken, a lovely Galaxy Angel hanken of Milfeulle, several new CCS cels, a Sizer cel from Violinist of Hameln, Maburaho sketches, a sketch of the yamamaya from Azumanga Daioh, a cel from Mahou Tsukai Tai, and a set of very rare original CCS sketches by Mokona Apapa of CLAMP and Mariko Fujita, Animation Director of the CCS anime. Unfortunately, the trip to Tokyo did not yield as many cels as hoped. There aren't as many cel stores as there were in the recent past.
Sakura Yuki
Milfuelle Kimono
Mokona Sketch #1
Mariko Fujita Sketch #1
Mokona Sketch #2
Mariko Fujita Sketch #2
Piyoko OP cel
Sakura and Tomoyo
Spirits
Yamamaya
On a side note, it was wonderful seeing everyone again at the cel panel and the RS dinner afterwards. I hope this continues as an annual event, though next year at the Los Angeles convention center will not be a nice a venue.
EDIT:
I almost forgot two new hankens that were acquired earlier. If you like the PC Game Princess Quest, you'll like these hankens

As always, a fantastic update. Whenever I look at your gallery, the only word that comes to mind is ...
WOW.
Seriously. It's like my brain goes into overload at the sight of all this incredible artwork you have gathered, and that you continue to add, and all that comes out is: WOW.
Congrats on your new additions. Each and every one is spectacular!!

Great update! The Milfuelle hanken is lovely! I can just imagine how vibrant that is in person.

I saw your update soon after it went up, and the new hanken is a lovely addition. The red rabbit battle costume is one of my favorites (my very first cel was of Sakura wearing it) and the snow falling around her and Tomoyo makes it a festive image, right for Cheerio! and right for your gallery.
The conceptual sketches are a really special treat. It's interesting that the characters are so well defined already in Mokona's sketches, with only a touch-up required by the anime-savvy artist. (Golly ... how does Mokona do it with those teensy gismo arms ... maybe by holding the pencil in his mouth?)
Your other additions are also up to your usual standards. Personally, I liked the one of poor Sakura being chased by the one-eyed booger, and the lovely AMG cel of the three online fates complete with the original movie-quality background. (Hmmm... weren't Urðr (aka Wyrd, the leader of Shakespeare's "Weird Sisters"), Verðandi and Skuld themselves the three fates in Scandinavian mythology? Maybe now they've gotten famous enough that they could subcontract the job to a bunch of Greek temps.
Anyhow, a tasty update: and there's one less hanken in Tokyo ... one more star in RS.

I too was anxious to see this update. I think my favorite is the CCS Hanken of Sakura and Tomoyo.
Just awesome. You always impress.

Very nice update. The hankens are all gorgeous. *_*
I'm particularly fond of starry-eyed Tomoyo. I think that cel really represents the relationship between the two girls.
I'm also rather fond of the cel of Sakura running away from the ghost.
She has such a cute look on her face. But . . . well, the correct spelling is yuurei (or yurei would work, if you don't like the double "u"). Yuri is girl/girl porn.
A yuurei is one of many types of Japanese ghosts.

I'll definitely have to change that title description. It is sometimes difficult to get the romanji correct!klet wrote:Very nice update. The hankens are all gorgeous. *_*
