How do you feel about COMING SOON sections?

I have "coming soon" section simply b/c I keep forgetting what I bought. Especiallyy it would be bad if I won a cel using rinkya b/c I keep forgetting it and I totallyy forgetting shipping it X|
(seriously I am really bad about it :( )
So I use this for reminding me what cel I bought......

But this section is hidden since even though I buy them I do not have them physically. So I do not want to risk being banned for posting cels which I do not have physically.

So, I note "Hidden: coming soon" in the section title so that no one would bother to see my gallery for update......

I second that.

Also I have one just so I can drool at them when Im looking at my gallery.

(What? am I the only one that does that? :P )

I don't look at coming soon sections and I don't have one. Personally, I could care less one way or the other. :P It just annoys me to no end when galleries show up on the RS homepage and the only update is to a coming soon section. X|

i actually enjoy looking at and keeping a coming soon section. granted, my own cs section has been neglected because i dont purchase cels that often. sometimes im too excited to share a cel before it's arrival. if i lose a cel, its nice to be able to seek out the winner and oogle at the cel in its new home.

it's a personal thing, i guess. 8)

So, you're going to reopen your gallery just to annoy me, huh? :evil: I thought you were lazier than that . . .

Though I must say that this topic has been discussed a few times before, and every time it is, the coming soon and hidden updates tend to slow down for a month or two. Then, everyone forgets how annoying they are, and they start right back up. :P Honestly, I don't check the RS homepage nearly as much as I used to, so it doesn't bother me as much.

Besides...speaking of lazy, don't you have some new cels to scan and upload..assuming that you can tear yourself away from your new figure in order to do so :D

In the beginning I uploaded all of my coming soon items as new. Then as I deleted them from the coming soon section, they went into the trash. And as I obtain more coming soon items, I just remove the old item from the trash and update it. Saves making a new one and clogging up the front page. ^_^

Someone doesn't know about my already huge pile of stuff to scan and upload. :P I only announced an update because I knew it would take me a while to get anything else up. X|

i am guilty of "hiding" my coming soon section and updating it recently... sorry guys. i don't do this very often but have gotten some feedback about it in the past. as long as i'm not breaking any rules, i don't see the harm in it...?
