For some weird reason, I thought immediately of Hyde's character "Kei" from Moon Child. (One of the worst vampire/gangster/rockstar actor movies I've ever laughed my ass off at. It starred Hyde from L'arc~en~Ciel and Gackt from Malice Mizer.)

Maybe it's the sole survivor thing. Or the biting. XD Or the fact that your kittyface looks like he's wearing eyeliner. XDDDD

Anyway, that's my suggestion.

Besides, any movie where guys see giant flying carp when they're drunk would appeal to the kitty!
