Awwww!!!What an adorable Kitty!!!
It is hard to name pets isn't it???It took a while to name my puppy, my brother even suggested that we call my female dog "bic&h" well she is one, but the name sounds :^^:
So name the kitty after someone you admire, or after what she looks like....

So since kitty likes to bite, possible names can be:

かむ kamu (v5m) to bite, to chew, to gnaw, (P)
かじる kajiru (v5r) to chew, to bite (at), to gnaw, to nibble, to munch, to crunch, to have a smattering of

Or better names :D
おかし okashi (n) confections, sweets, candy, (P)
あめ ame (n) (hard) candy, (P)

Jiji from Kiki;s delivery service
I have a Jiji! He's a 16 lb. mammoth kitty with long black fur. I've only had one vet who's caught the Kiki reference.. all the others assume that he's a girl, hehe. :^^:

Aww, I like this one, too! It makes me think of a teeny little bunny! /kis

What you said was either too simple for me.

My vote's for Kaiju. All cats should be named Kaiju. Mine are only 8 pounds each, but when they get to wrestling on the hardwood floors, they sound like giant frickin' monsters stomping all over Seattle.

And that, by the way, is one mighty, mighty cute kitten!
He who dies with the biggest mech... obviously needed a bigger mech.

There have been some awesome suggestions...you've probably named your cat by now but I've wanted to name a cat Saionji ever since I saw Utena! I know it is silly, my Japanese roommate thought I was insane when I wanted to name our fish Saionji ^.^ I just like the way it sounds :) And if he bites Saionji has the perfect personality to match your kitty with!

Whilst I'm working I usually meet 8-12 cats each day and call many of them "Puss". A little generic but they all respond favourably. It was funny when I discovered that the owners of one moggy actually named their pet "Puss-Puss"!
A short sharp name is best, like for dogs who understand brief sounds/commands.
I abbreviated a couple of my cat's names to Kits and Tigs which was easier for me to say and for them to take notice.
Out of the gloom a voice said unto me;
"Smile and be happy, things could be worse".
So I smiled and was happy
and behold;
things did get worse...

We finally went with the name Meier, after Meier Link from VHD:BL.

Thank you so much, everyone! There were so many great names that it was hard to decide!

He's growing into a happy, healthy, shoulder-riding kitty! :D
