Ok...Ok.....

This'll do it for sure /ok :

The treasure is somehow connected to a sacred mountain, which bears the same name as the short sword our hero was given by the evil leader....

No…sorry. :(

It’s a classic anime movie, with a famous director, 8) a lavish production, with over a dozen credited artists for the backgrounds alone! :$$$:

It’s set in my favorite time in Japanese history, /ok
Not the Heian Period :flower ,
nor the Warring States Era :badass …but the
Meiji Restoration! :yay
(though it’s not historically accurate by any means! :emb )

The treasure….the mountain…the short sword….

All with the same name ________

Not many people express themselves the way you do.

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Yes, yes! /gawi

Kamui no Ken, Dagger of Kamui, Blade of Kamui…it’s old (about the same as Akira /hmm ), but it’s a tour de force of the art of pen, plastic and paint! :D The surrealistic fight between Jiro and the Devil Ninja :badass …the nightmarish murder of his mother :OMG , helplessly witnessed through a drug induced stupor, these rank among the most artfully, imaginatively, and skillfully executed in all animation…

Now, kind sir, the proverbial ball is in your proverbial court!

Well since it's been 4 weeks I'll declare that all are stumped on the last one. X|

So I'll throw out a new one...

In this anime , a specialized group fights monsters that have escaped from peoples unconscious and invaded the real world.

Ok no guesses so far so I'll give another hint.

They use "Broom Gods" as a weapons , placing inside them items which are then empower their attacks.
