Thanks for all your hard work, WC and Zetsuai, and for being open to the suggestions. I really appreciate that, and it shows your willingness to make this a more enjoyable experience for all the participants. (+10 for customer service skills! ) The site looks great and has increased in user/voter-friendliness.

As for question #2...

The reason there are so many categories listed under Hanken is that the category is open to hanken cels, sketches, paintings, and other mediums. Hankens are not always cels.

wELCOME cONSUMER wrote:Another thing we are working on is fixing errors in submissions to the contest, ie - hankens in the wrong categories. So, please, if you see anything out of place on the site, PM me immediately with the details. The guidelines and rules exist for a reason.
As I mention above, we are dealing with the Hanken errors. There was one in the Romance category as well, which has since been removed. I wanted to first confirm with the entrants before removing the items, which is why Joy #3 is still posted for now.

Action #13 is not a harmony and the entrant wanted me to make this quite clear to the voters. Harmony cels are done only in black ink and derive their color from the backgrounds. The entrant has even offered to provide additional scans to prove Action #13 is in fact not a harmony, which I don't feel is necessary.

I don't actually know about Villainous #3. It's been brought to my attention already and I need to ask the entrant to confirm. I didn't think it was, but I cannot answer with complete certainty.

As for the Hanken notion, Brian answered correctly. I wanted to cover as many possibilities as, well... possible. :D H does stand for Hanken, but I also wanted to address what kinds of mediums those Hankens could be, as some hankens are sketches, some are cels and some are paintings. Better to be safe than sorry.

As Sajora has said, the Animated Sequence section has been divided into two pages. Clicking the Icon will take you to the animated page, while clicking the text "Animated Sequence" will take you to the still thumbnail page.

Thank you very much for the kind words about the site. Sajora and I are elated that you all enjoy it so much. :)

Ah, i see the idea of having 2 pages for the animated sequences was a good choice after all. Having broadband or not seems to be only one of the issues. An slow CPU cannot handle that many animated gifs at the same time. The result, the computer i have at home plays them without problems while my computer at work can barely play them in a very slow motion (and both have broadband). :)

From this point on, I think we should keep all questions and comments about cels in private message. That way, a post does not influence people's decision on whether or not a cel meets the criteria for a category. I'm not trying to be snippy or place blame, I just think the "Does this cel belong in...?" posts might be better as a PM.

Yep, that would be convenient.

But, if any cel is added/removed i hope it's still posted here. I mean, i had already written my "votes" in a txt file and thanks to these posts i realized i had to correct my notes for one of the categories because the order was shifted.

Does anyone else write their choices on notepad like i do? (Of course we can always change our minds later)

I'm too lazy to use wordpad/word/notepad. I always "copy" what I type to the clipboard before I hit submit, because I've lost my messages alot of times from computer glitches! /ok

Yes I use notepad as well, along with already having my votes in (written on notepad heh) I tend to use it quite a bit for random things i want to write down (anime series name to look more info in) misc websites, etc. Its quite convenient.

I love the "no right-click" feature on the front pages! I was just curious if you could turn on "no right-click" on the whole website, so that it's harder to just take all the images after clicking on them!
Thank You! :vict

Oh and sometimes the control panel doesn't have that "no right-click" feature so It'll be too hard... so don't worry if there isn't that feature!

Yes, I would like all questions and comments about specific cels to made discreetly in PM.

Joy #3 is being removed.

If anymore changes are made to the site, I will announce those changes in this thread.
