So, unless you have some real world experience on dealing with kids today(break up a rainbow party or catch one student trying to give another a handjob in class), in a school setting, your stories simply remain cute references to a bygone era.
My brother graduated last year. Not just "cute refrences to a bygone era" are they now?

And at the end of my last post I acknowledged that parents take responsibility in this. But also since we know nothing about this situation I have to reasonably assume that this could also be one of those shitty teachers making a mountain out of a molehill as well.

Also I find humor that some students get suspended for hugging, YET in california now boys are allowed to use the girls locker rooms...

I agree w. Brian
students are nowhere like the students of yester years.
And parents are WAY too soft on them .

Ray and I are always astonished at hearing one another
exchange stories about our childhood.

I think the millienials are viewed/treated too gently
and very much underestimated.

When I was in middle schjool (not too long ago lol)
we had more than 10 girls drop out by 7th grade due to
pregnancy.
Personal experience: 1 boy whom I unfortunately caught having sex
w/ his g/f in the ladies room, saw a boy knife another in the spill-out area during lunch, and one girl in class who was
very well-known among students to be pimped to older men
(american enjo kusai in a way).
Granted, I grew in urban Miami but
it doesnt excuse the fact that kids nowadays are not as cute
or innocent as they once were.
At least then (genx-baby boomers) you could deal w/ fights
and only walk away w/ a bloody nose, now you worry if your going to be
gunned down t he next day for looking at someone wrong in class.

Actually, I was referring to you and Pixie. I didn't know how old your brother was, so why would I comment on him?

There are shitty teachers, NSP. No doubt. But that still has nothing to do with this particular story, as we have only heard one side of the issue. The reason for that is that the schools are instructed not to talk about the situation in detail. The parents can talk all they want. So we are really only getting one side of the story. I am sorry that you and your brother had such a bad school experience. However, those teachers are not representative of what it is I do for a living.

My point exactly is that there are shitty teachers, which makes it extremely possible that there was no problem here and the teacher is misrepresenting the scenario. Also I acknowledge that it could be exactly as you say and there were more sinister forces at work between the children, but because I don't know all the facts I'm not ruling out either option.

My younger brother graduated a few years back, and his girlfriend graduated last year.
