I'm not shedding a tear for the loss of the popping animated gifs falling all over my screen either.
When intrusive graphics interrupt content, I tend to get fairly irritated. Especially if I have to do a work around to get rid of it. SO! I'm happy camper to have the simple, straight forward, content oriented beta back.
