I like the snow but it seems to make my pages lag a bit since my computer stinks.

2 years later, i am still looking at the same "TLU" banner. lol!

is there a way to change it? or only via a site mod?

I no longer have the supply of banners due to a hard drive crash (two years ago, go fig). I'm also no graphic designer.

If anyone feels like making a more permanent banner - two, actually, one for the green skin and one for the blue - please send it to me and I will change them.

Iâ€™m a little hesitant to outright volunteer since Iâ€™m not a web-focused one and I wasnâ€™t on this forum back when the banner changed so I donâ€™t have any examples to go by except for the two that have been up currentlyâ€¦

But Iâ€™d be happy to do the technical Photoshoping/putting it together part if someone wanted to give me some anime images theyâ€™d like featured and maybe a request or two of how it should look.

The works you shown me were really decent, don't underestimate yourself

If required I'll insure backup or if you prefer we may plan a team work.

my suggestion would be to create an interchangeable banner that features different anime.

i'm sure the boys will appreciate a non-TLU banner. lol...

My main hesitancy comes from not being very current with new/popular anime. And I havenâ€™t got any anime images saved to my own computer other than WK ones which is hardly a majority crowd pleaser, heh. Soâ€¦I really wouldnâ€™t know what to choose as a feature character/series. Iâ€™ve also got some personal issues going on that are draining me a bit from being my creative best.

So, yeah. I think I could come up with something decent if fed ideas, given anime images to manipulate, etc. Collaborating would be great. Youâ€™re also welcome to do it if youâ€™re eager to take that on. I just figured Iâ€™d offer my services since I have the ability, I donâ€™t mind at all if someone else wanted to do it.

@Caroline:

Do you mean a file where the layer with the anime image can easily be swapped out by whoeverâ€™s maintaining the banner, or an animated gif with lots of changing anime images all at once??

I actually forgot the other version is TLU; Iâ€™ve had it set on the green Spirited Away version this whole time, heh.
