Oh, yes! /ok Even Shonen series stalwarts can be lured to the Shojo side with the promise of dark political intrigue, interesting characters, … and beautiful guys hacking and whacking at each other with swords!!! :iluvu
^^;;; Yes I admit I do like a few Shojo series. lol

Ok lets see!

It's back in the time of Samurai. There is a tournament! One of the main characters knows many techniques to fight with a sword. The main character is in love with a girl. One character uses the girl to become more..

If it is, it'll be the only anime title I've heard of in this thread :( :hurt:

Un Uh, Krafty! :( That’s not so!

My very first pick in this thread, Judge, I remember reading in a thread that you were looking for cels from it! So, you must have heard of that one too, at least. In fact, there are several titles picked in this thread that you, maybe do know, or probably would like if you did. :D Starting with the one I listed above, a short “Krafty Pleasing” list might add the fourth one on the list of past picks, miz ducky’s just mentioned Basilisk, and:
Crying Freeman
Spriggan
Sanctuary
Curse of the Undead Yoma
Jin Roh: The Wolf Brigade
Ogre Slayer
Zipang

and every Rin Taro fan has to know Kamui no Ken!

Sheesh. I pick one Shojo series and suddenly I’m alienating our Macho guys! :run

Well, it was a whole heck of a lot easier than your first hint for Samurai Deeper Kyo! :crackup

Next on the docket:

In one terrifying moment, the lights in the nighttime sky go from being giant celestial bodies, to representations of very special earthly ones.

Is that Darker Than Black?

DtB is a really good show.

Well that took all of, what, 8 minutes? X|

Despite featuring yet another “Rei Ayanami” incarnation :roll , someone (like me :D ) who loves those brooding, overprotective, “outwardly cold as ice but with a heart of mush” guys  couldn’t help but fall for this involving sci-fi drama! /no1

(And we’re only supposed to pick good ones!)

Your turn at bat….

I can't see your link RF. So I don't know if it's a correct answer or not.

The series Robo has linked to is Guardian of the Sacred Spirit.

There is no need to put such links especially ones that attempt to fill your computer with pop up ads and spyware. (It set off my AV/AS program).

Guardian of the Sacred Spirit or Seirei no Moribito is correct.
