I still am left without an explanation of why they killed the whole clan though or am I missing something?

Including something that has puzzled me since the Kakashi Gaiden:

Who are these fabulous ninja ocular surgeons????

You can’t just gouge somebody’s eye out of its socket, pop it in your own, and have it WORK!!!!

How are they reestablishing the blood flow, reattaching the muscles, … and the Optic nerve???!!!???

I think the artists may have been playing too much with those VOLKS dolls…

WOW! Powerful chapter.

Yes, I had started reading them from two chapters ago.

I agree with why Sasuke's dad was so aloof.

Why get too attached to an organ donor?

I'm wondering what the sick reason is for

Itachi killing the entire clan since he already killed his best friend to acheive the eyes. And all he has to do is kill Sasuke to acheive ultimate power.

So with all this new knowledge, do you really think Sasuke would try to revive his clan if he were to beat Itachi?

I think at this point Sasuke is thinking of purely revenge. As for killing an entire clan I think Itachi had issues for what they stood for and also saw them as obstacles. Perhaps I'm wrong, but that's how I've seen it thus far. I see Sasuke killing Itachi, getting his eyes, and going after Madara.

On a side note......WELCOME TO THE DARK SIDE DT!!!!!!!!

I can see this with Itachi,

although for someone who purports to condemn the clan’s actions he seems to be following their directives right down the line!

But what of Madara? How and why was he involved???

After scorning and deliberately not following Itachi’s method for obtaining the Mangekyou, I would hope he distains this gruesome Uchiha tradition as well

I had a gut feeling that Itachi had killed the clan due to some sick Uchiha ritual to attain power.
They had already explained how you could get mangekyo so it really ddin't surprise me when he gave the thorough explanation.
I dunno.. kinda a downer for me...

seemed so predictable..

blah! I dont care to see another prolonged Sakura vs Sasori fight!

erading any of the "kakashi " arc where he explains his re;lationship w/ Obito and how he got his Sharingan.
What chapter is that? I know its when Naruto and him are running (er... "flying")
to catch up w/ Deidara or somethin along those lines...

Anybody mind giving me a heads up?
