Well looks like Sasuke keeps his eye ... for now ... and I really did believe this all the way to Kakashi giving his eye to Sasuke - I think I've finally come to grips I will never EVER be able to predict this manga - Heck, I'm still blown away Oro is gone. I never would have guessed that would happen so quick in a million years -

At least Itachi’s not being given the brush-off Oro was

I mean, come on, Kishimoto’s been playing “And Then There Were None” with the Akatsuki (Pain being a notable exception)

Actually, the only prediction I’m really sure of is Goldknight’s from the Jump Festa thread. She has great insight into the Narutoverse

I don't know about Mightymask, but this early I am usually referring to mangahelpers spoiler script translations

When marked as "confirmed" they have yet to be wrong.

WOW!

You guys are ahead of the game. I usually can't read it until Saturday. Sometimes, I can get lucky and read it on Friday but I can't count on it.

I'll wait for the pretty pictures. Besides, I prefer spectulating about the possiblities of what could happen next for a week before finding out. There's just something fun about NOT getting instant gratification for a change.

the continuation of the Sasuke/Itachi show!

I kinda like getting the script before the pictures...lets me imagine how they will look. And it's interesting to compare and contrast with the real ones, when they do appear.

I actually caught the spoiler on Narutofan - but I think those guys usually get them from Mangahelpers.

I also used to want to wait until the finished product came out but I've gotten to the point where I get too impatient. Especially with this last arc!! I made sure to use spoiler tags as the last thing I want to do is ruin anybody's routine of how they view the manga. I apologize if that's the case. After thinking about it a bit I'll probably wait until I post here from now on.

Oh no! I'm not upset at all about you posting early like this. All I was saying was that I won't be joining your conversations until later in the week. I appreciate the spoiler boxes. I checked them out this time as well as the link for the script. That's when I decided I'd rather just wait, especially since I don't know who that 3rd person is talking. (Remember, I just joined your ranks of reading the manga.

He shows up for the first time at about ep 6? of Shippuuden.

(I used the hours inbetween my 12 hours of work and sleep to actually watch ALL of Naruto and start Shippuuden, while I was gone.)

I've actually heard of him from other people. And I heard

he gets killed by Sasuke.

I just haven't met him yet. Almost to Shippuuden. Episode 216!

I just have little motivation to plow through them other than to get to Sasuke, which I know he disappears for a while after the first episode.

Oh geez! If Deidara is anything like Sakon . . . snooze.

The only "bad" guys I've liked so far have been Orochimaru, Kabuto, Itachi, Zabuza and Haku.

Haku wasn’t a bad-guy!!

He was just misled…he offered his devotion and allegiance to the wrong person. That’s why Kakashi, hardened ninja assassin that he is, felt so bad about that chidori to the chest!!

But I digress…

No, Deidara is NOTHING like the socially maladjusted Sound Four!

I don’t know how “hawt” he is….he is pretty metrosexual looking.

(although you've suuuure got a point about those hands, Shampoo

) But in a manga filled with the angry, the angsty, the aggrieved, the grouchy, the grumpy, the gloomy, the sad, the serious, and the solemn; it was like a breath of fresh air to see Deidara go at it with such zest and mischievous glee!

Like he was really having a…a...BLAST!!

(Even now, just thinking about him is helping to lift my spirits after seeing that heartbreaking “might have been” Sasuke/Itachi pic.)

I have been reading this thread recently and been intrigued by the comments to start reading the manga from the time jump. I hope to catch up and join in soon.
