I was just curious what types of computers fellow Beta members are using. Post your brand, processor and operating system.

I built my own. It's Brian Brand!!

It's got an AMD Athlon 4200+ 2x dual core processor with 2 gigs of ram and a ATI x1900gt 256mb graphics card.

Running windows XP. I don't want to upgrade to Vista till I start hearing good things about it. Or stop hearing bad, horrific things...

I am using the HP Pavilion laptop I got for x-mas '07. I 'm pretty clueless about the specs, :shrug , but the stickers say it has an Intel Centrino Duo processor, and Windows XP.

Wow Brian! Your computer sounds sweet! :)

I'm also using a custom-built... well, in conjunction with my Toshiba laptop.

My desktop (about 4 years old now *sweat*, but still running like new):

P4 2.8GHz Prescott CPU
2GB Corsair PC3200 XMS memory
Asus P4P800SE motherboard
nVidia GeForce 5700 Ultra graphics card
2 Western Digital 250GB SATA hard drives in RAID 1 (mirrored)
OS: Windows XP Professional

My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite... with a Core 2 Duo T5300 processor, 2GB of DDR2 memory and running Windows Vista Home Premium.

Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz (2CPUs)

OK, I'll be the first to say:

24" iMac 2.33 Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM, nVidia GeForce 7600 GT 256MB, 750MB HD running OSX 10.5.2 aka Leopard.

Wasn't too crazy about the latest iMac's glossy screen, so I got this off eBay. It has a matte screen which is important in my line of work.

gb
