I'm baaaaaaack!!

HI everyone!!! Well, I know I've been MIA for ages and ages, but I'm finally back!!! I spent four months working in a place that I'm certian must have really been one of the outer rings of hell, quit, and have now been working at a new company for about 2 weeks now. I love it, and I'm learning heaps and heaps!!

My last job really didn't pay all that much, but I'm making a bit more now and so when I get caught up on my credit card, I'm sure I'll be adding to my cel collection again! I've actually done a bit of a Rubberslug update, stuff that I've had for a while but didn't get up before.

On the personal side, I think I'm still recovering from my Dad's passing in April of last year. I had a bit of health scare with my Mom the other week, (she's fine, but it scared the h*ll out of me) and the end result was that this past Thursday I started crying my eyes out at work for no reason at all and had to leave early. I ended up making myself really, really, really sick and had to miss Friday as well!! But, I think I'm feeling better now and that it was probably good to get it out of my system.

So, what's new? What have I missed? How is everybody? I've missed you guys, and I'm happy to be back!

Welcome back, DevoVamp! I'm sorry your world hasn't been a stable place for you, but at least relieved that you have a better working situation at least and that your mom is better. These are times when having something enjoyable to do and talk about give you a little bit of shelter from the storm, and a place to start your healing and regrowth.

BTW, your Nightstalker sketches are really nice, especially the new crying Shido. That's an AIC series, right? Their sketchwork always sometimes brilliantly good, even when it's something as far away from Nightstalker as (gulp) [Edit: Sasami: Mahou Shoujo Club] (or Ah My Goddess). [When I wrote this, my wife told me I had the shower, and so, in a hurry to finish up, I typed PPGZ by mistake. That's a Toei production. Anyhow, Nightstalker looks to be a primo production from the quality of your sketches.]

Anyhow, feel free to rejoin the madness [or senility, in my case].

(BTW, very dramatic gallery home page, especially the gothy wallpaper that looks like it should have eyes in one spot.)
