Here is the top 5 in my gallery,I'm not sure why.
Strange things to be in the top 5 in a anime gallery.
Some were up to 1000 hits or more but last year I moved most of my artwork around in the gallery and reposted them and the hit counts restarted at zero,so these hits are what I have had in the last year or so.

http://backlotanimation.rubberslug.com/ ... mID=100874 334 hits

http://backlotanimation.rubberslug.com/ ... mID=134415 321 hits

http://backlotanimation.rubberslug.com/ ... mID=119553 284 hits

http://backlotanimation.rubberslug.com/ ... mID=117564 273 hits

http://backlotanimation.rubberslug.com/ ... mID=121358 240 hits

Enjoy!

The Maxx, Sam Kieth's Comic from the early / mid 90's. Was also a 13 episode series on MTV's Oddities cartoon block in 95. I've had a renewed interest in the series since I found my old graphic novels. I was too young to fully appreciate the story back then. It's quite good.
Thanks Startyde! & Otakusin -- I'd have thought it was from the avatar, too -- but it didn't look the least bit familiar to me /thx

THAT'S where it's from -- been a looooooooooooong time, huh? :emb Have to say I viewed the eps on MTV.....wow, 13 yrs. I do vaguely remember being sorry for The Maxx -- love the artwork, though -- maybe time for a re-visit!

I'm with the group scrolling down my top 50 list. :^^:

#1: Full Metal Alchemist - Although, I have no idea why this Ed got all the hits. I have better ones. :? He's for sale if interested. :^^:

Edward Elric

#2: Inuyasha - I bought him on my first trip to Japan at Mandarake in Osaka.

Inuyasha

#3: Card Captor Sakura - I'm not sure why this cel is my top CCS cel but that's okay. It's still a great image. Besides, it's on page one. The cels I would assume to be higher in CCS are making their climbs up. :^^:

Syaoran & Sakura

#4: Ayashi no Ceres - Hey! It's an OP that's always on the first page. I think it's beautiful and love having it in my collection even if I hate the character. :)

Toya OP

#5: Trigun - Of course, my Trigun OP would be up there. Vash is beautiful and I've had him for about 6 years. He's one of the original cels I opened my gallery with. And he's for sale.

Vash OP

Cool topic :) Dunno how accurate my list is considering the large discrepancy in hits between everything, by the looks of it hot-linking might be to blame :x Ah well, here's the list anyways:

If I'm understanding right, it's not just the top 5 but the top 5 from different series...

my top five has me battled. actually my top 20 in general (all series) has me a little baffled. some i figured would be the more highly viewed items but others, while nice, i don't feel are the nicest of the section. ^-^ so it's pretty neat to see what the majority of others like most...and i also like seeing what the top 5 is in other people's galleries.

My top five (from different series, including the overall rank in my gallery):
1) menchi smiles - hxh #1 in gallery

2) Usagi choked - sm stars #2 in gallery

3) angel daisy - wedding peach #5 in gallery

4) chibis hanken - tenchi muyo #8 in gallery

5) windy & wwins - ccs #9 in gallery

This is really fun! I'm enjoying looking at everyone's top viewed items.
I think it's neat to take a look at the most popular item from 5 different shows. Because while one show might be the most popular, it's cool to see the great things from such a wide range of shows.

If I had to pick the one thing that I like best out of everyone's list, I would be here all day because they are all great!

I actually spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out how many hits/month did each item receive since I added it to the gallery. If I just went with the highest hits, most of the items posted would be those added back in 2005.

So, the highest hits per month in my gallery are:

Asahi Apple Shoes:

Sega Saturn SuperS game:

It seems cels that I have offered for sale get alot of hits of course so that really messes up the hit count. Most of those were taken down because they were sold.. then again it seems any Sm cel I have ever had was in the top most viewed cel list. Did it this way so you dont have to click on the link and give those cels even more hits... LOL

The FY cel I have used alot as an example for a book cel... @_@

Since the last time that I checked the popular listing button a few months ago, the order has changed some.

1. Princess Emeraude Closeup from Magic Knights Rayearth OVA (~1200 hits) Hey, now that I think about it, that's almost more hits than my gallery homepage. I wonder if someone is constantly refreshing the page to see if it metamorphosizes. X|
http://drakonia.rubberslug.com/gallery/ ... emID=31703

2. Random Wolf from an unknown series (#5 in list)
http://drakonia.rubberslug.com/gallery/ ... emID=36997

3. Sakura and Li waltz scene from Card Captor Sakura (#8 in list)
http://drakonia.rubberslug.com/gallery/ ... emID=24997

4. Last Unicorn (#17 in list)
http://drakonia.rubberslug.com/gallery/ ... emID=31698

5. Unico (#21 in list)
http://drakonia.rubberslug.com/gallery/ ... emID=24814

Most of my viewed cels are from Magic Knights Rayearth and Card Captor Sakura. 8)

View counts are to the right of the names. My top items haven't changed much over the years.
