The only thing I could ever draw half-satisfactorily were landscapes and buildings. You know....things that don't have much curve to them (i.e. cars and people). :emb

In Astronomy class I had to draw a horizon landscape showing where the sun set once a week during a three month span. I had to show the approximate size of the sun against those buildings and trees.

I wish I could have gotten that assignment returned to me after the class was over because it'd be way too big of a pain in the rear to go through something like that all over again. I was rather proud of that thing. I had to tape two pieces of paper lengthwise to make it work properly. :sweatdrop

Senor and I are both artists, enjoying writing, photography and drawing. His degree is in art while mine is in english. I used to be a jewelry maker and mosaic artist by profession. I'd say Senor's special skill is color, always having a good eye for it and a strong commune with it, and my special skill is cooking. I can eat anything and almost always distinguish the recipe by taste, allowing me to recreate it at home. My father is also an artist by profession, for over 25 years, so it runs in the family.

Hmm I can draw to some extent, but I'm so snail like that I just don't have the patience to develop any potential skills that I might have.

I can't draw or paint for that matter despite so many artists in the family so I chose the medium of photography. It appeals to me and gives me an reason to hiking.
Most Bishies are eyecandy therefore they must all be attractive for the females. One Problem though Can we have MORE LEGAL eyecandy??

Both my parents are extremely talented, my dad more so that my mom. Where she is good in one or two art forms, my dad has the ability to create anything using anything with the end result always being the same, absolutely incredible. Growing up, seeing everything my parents created from our home/furniture to paintings/drawings and so on, I had an overwhelming desire to do the same. The sad truth is I have no ability, the closest I have is (as one teacher so well put it) an artful eye. I have the imagination and the vision, I just do not the skill to create what I see in my mind only dictate it to others.

I am also an art major - someday I will make money with it! I am majoring in illustration and currently in the process of transferring from the Academy of Art University to the Columbus College of Art and Design.

Here's my deviant art page.

I really need to start a blog too. All I know is that I've always loved to draw and even when I am not trying I always defult to creating things - ideas for stories, characters, paintings, etc. The challenge and fun is to see how much reality I can bring to the fanstastic, and vice versa.

I think everyone has creativity inside of them. I don't care what your profession is or how many people have told you that you are not an artist - you should always do something for yourself that involves creativity - its important to feel connected to life and even in control of it at times.

Yes I do draw :) I only know how to draw anime though  I've tried to draw realistically, or any other form and it didn't work. So, after many tiresome years, I've decided to just accept drawing anime
