That was pretty good. Thanks for posting that.

As Heath Ledger said, the Joker has no conscious.

New Dark Knight trailer hit theatres. The studio has held off pushing this film for the past few months so they will not get slammed for looking like they are trying to make money off the death of Heath Ledger and use the tragedy to market the film.

Edit: See post below for new URL

Well, Peter Travers of Rolling Stone has given 3.5/4 stars to The Dark Knight. Travers says that Ledger is deserving of a posthumous Oscar nomination, and everyone is at the top of their game in this movie. The review did give away some of the plot, so read at your own risk. To give you an idea, here are some other recent films to earn the same score...

Iron Man
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Sweeney Todd
Beowulf
Juno

Did anyone see the animated dvd yet? I plan on watching it, but would like someones take on it? Also, I can't wait to see the movie. Unfortunately, I can't make it to the midnight release :( .

You know, I've never been a Batman fan but I'm off to go see this movie. On a whim, I entered a drawing for 2 tickets to a pre-screening for The Dark Knight. What do you know? I won! 8O :)

I'll let y'all know the feelings of a non-Batman lover after the movie. No spoilers. And it's not that I don't like Batman, I just never really got into him. :^^:

Well I just saw the movie this evening and loved it. I LOVED the joker in this movie much better than Jack Nicholson's version. I also couldn't get over two face. I just couldn't stop starting at that face trying to figure out how they pulled it off. The movie was constantly intense and action packed. I think the only complaint is the length of the movie. But even that wasn't too big a deal since it kept you so interested. What was sad was:
They left it open for the joker's return in another movie. :bawl

Coming from the non-Batman fan, The Dark Knight is now my 2nd favorite Batman movie. :^^: The 1st would be the 1st one. And Heath Ledger's performance of the Joker is my favorite of ALL the different Jokers throughout the years. It just makes things even sader that he died. :l

Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.
I hope they don't revisit the Joker again in the future. There are so many great villains to take on that they really don't need to. Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn would make a killer duo for the next film
Anyone else wanna try the disappearing pencil trick? :hurt:

I LOVED that trick. I was laughing my ass off. Just goes to show how sick and twisted my sense of humor is. :rollin
