Twice a year you get extra cash from work in Japan (usually). It is for a new year and Obon..... So sometimes big auctions come out when people have extra cash (such as in December). I usually get big Kenshin cels (or see ones) around December.... I have heard that this is because of bonus season. We will have a bonus druing August as well... So there might be out at YJ.....kenshikenji wrote:whats bonus season?kittens wrote:I have not seen nice Kenshin cels for a while.... It might show up at YJ in August b/c of bonus season in Japan.....

I am also looking for good Kenshin cels but I have not seen them recently (I saw many Kaoru cels at YJ recently from my fav seller at YJ...). Last year I saw many Kenshin cels but for some reason I do not see good ones in this year so much....

I think the UK or Japan, we have high price of gas but we have great public transportations so we do not need a car to go anywhere..... (sometimes we do but if you are in a town you do not need one).
Also cars in europe and Japan are much smaller so it does not need so much gas as well.....

I heard gas is subsidized in China for as little as 2 bucks?
But back to kenshin cels, there seems to be quite a few on ebay right now although probably wouldn't qualify for "primo"... Ehehehe although I think one of those kenshin cels is very very funny.
Well it's nice to know that little tidbit. Need to make sure I have money then.

I'm sorry for continuing this off topic rant, but that really doesn't make much sense.kittens wrote:Also cars in europe are much smaller so it does not need so much gas as well.....
Last time I filled my car I paid around 95 euro ($150!!) for 60 litres which will last me exactly one week.
I drive a rather big MPV, as a lot of people in Europe do. The generalizing idea that all people in Europe drive small cars really is rather outdated.
As for Kenshin cels; have you tried contacting Gundam-Club?
I know he used to have some really nice ones.

Good luck on finding Kenshin cels ^_^ I have been very picky lately (and I am less interested in cels lately....
) so I hope I would not fight against you

Prob I only want nowadays Kenshin x Kaoru dream cels
Sorry!
My math is not really good
(believe me I cannot add.....
) but I think it is about 24 gallons of gas.... This is a huge tank! My small car (this is gio metro) has only 10 gallons tank and it takes 10 days to run out of gas......
Of course, I am in the US and I used to drive in Japan so I am not sure exactly how Euro cars work but I thought these cars have much better milages than US cars..... (like Japanese cars).
Also maybe driving in town makes so much different than driving in highway including how far you drive as well.....
For some SUV cars, they pay more than $94 to fill up the tank.... (24 gallon tank) http://money.cnn.com/2008/05/23/markets ... /index.htm

Sorry!!! Like I said I cannot addWendy wrote:60 litres = 16 gallon
So if I was to fill up a 24 gallon tank I'd have to pay $235

But also now dollar is so weak (I know I was in Euro last year four times and I have been there two times in this year already and I feel difference!!!). I just came back from the UK and Italy trip and I just felt pain! (but I did not have to pay at all

I hope it will come back

But I TOTALLY agree with you!!! Definitely gas prices in Euro and Japan are EXPENSIVE!
