It's Summer!!! and I'm feeling Really really hot!!!!!!!!! So I haven't been posting... It's too hot to do anything... I just want to lie down in front of the Fan!!!

Thank Goodness for Air Conditioning! So I'm staying Cool with a giant Fan and GE air conditioner!!!

What are you doing to Cool off?

Are you Cool? Gone to the beach, get Ice Cream or Ice cones, enjoy the Air Conditioning?

What are you doing to be Hot?

Are you Hot? Gone to the Hot Springs? Working on the garden?? Fishing???

Its been so unusually hot here in Ohio, and my friend and I decided to brave the heat today by walking around the Columbus Art Festival. It wasn't too bad during most of the day, especially when the breeze came by, but for some reason around 5pm, it just started to BOIL so we left. I drink a lot of water when I am hot and try to stay in air conditioned places.

As for my cels, Alvin and the Chipmunks are hot:

it's really warm here, but my apt doesn't have a/c so i use a lot of fans. sleeping during the day (since i'm on night shift now), i have 2 fans on me or else i over heat and can't sleep.

then my work place is kept really cold so when i go to work i freeze!

But this year it's been cooler than normal here. I know Torrance is usually 3-6 degrees cooler in Spring and Summer compared downtown Los Angeles, but this year has definitely been cooler than normal. I think the local weatherman said that March was the coolest avearge March temparatures in Los Angeles in twelve years.

In Torrance I think we've only had six days so far this year where it's been 86 degrees Fahrenheit or warmer. I can't get enough of these 74 to 77 degree days since I usually feel five to fifteen degrees warmer than most people to begin with.

When I was outside in 38 degrees and 30 MPH wind blowing in Chicago in January without a jacket on I was doing fairly well. But I hate feeling so hot during warm weather because it feels like hell to me. I bring a white sun umbrella with me to work in case the heat gets to me too badly.

Sometimes I hold a thick piece of cardboard over my head when the heat becomes too oppresive for me and the direct sun is overheating the top of my head. Holding the cardboard doesn't look as strange as holding the umbrella.
