Online translators

Post by Keropi »

Is it just me or are online translators no longer working on Yahoo Japan?

I know my software isn't working on it right now and it worked this afternoon.

You're right. My FoxLingo, doesn't translate it at all.

I use this translation site:

http://www.ocn.ne.jp/translation/

The first page that opens lets you cut and paste Japanese text from descriptions and translate it into English (choose the second option in the menu for "Eigo"). That still works.

But it's true that the second tab, which used to let you translate entire pages, no longer works. Some update in the format of Yahoo?

The Google translation option that SMJ offers on the top of pages obtained through their search engine does still work.

Yeah, my cut-and-paste still works, but it was nice being able to hit one button and wait for the entire page to translate.

Ah well. Hope other websites don't decide to make the same design changes. I wouldn't feel like paying another $200 just to get updated software for it.

Are the Deputy real-time bidding services working with the new changes?
