Any one else wanna take a bite out of him, or am I the only one?

Does anyone know is the anime is any good?

I am blaming the fact that I just went off of BC, and my hormones haven't settled. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

He is Bonten...not a really nice guy, but he has a cute bun (yes, Ducky - BUN not bum!).

He looks so much better without the silly lip ring.

The anime is a bit slow...okay, really slow and on the confusing side for about 6 episodes (I'd say 50% stop watching after 3-6 eps from multiple unexplainable Edo period character overload) and then it gets even more complex and confusing as additional characters show up.

The manga definitely helps fill in the giant black holes in the anime, and there is no real ending, so hopefully it will get another season.

I had this feeling I was the only person who watched Amatsuki...maybe I am? Anyway, the rilezu have been up all week and zero have sold. They did not pick great screenshots of Bonten, so I'm passing on those.

You mean there are better shots of him?! I guess I'll have to check out the show after all.

It figures that he's a bad guy. I have a tendency towards the less good characters in anime.

I watched Amatsuki also, and I thought it was alright. There are a few eps that do run on the slow side (as Kaona mentioned) which as a 13 ep series kind of slow it down as a whole, however I still found it to be an underated anime for the season. I'm hoping it gets a second season or at least a couple of OVA's

While there are a few shots that I wouldn't mind adding to my collection - this one for example http://animecellar.cside.to/Rilezu/Amat ... 04-138.jpg The prices are a bit out of my budget. Although, if a really nice shot of Kuchiha came up...

I'm waiting patiently for Tsuyukusa to show up, hopefully he'll come in the next update

I like the series, but I agree with Kaona the manga's the better of the two.

Your not alone...I like both Bonten and Tsuyukusa, but to have a pan size face of Bonten is a little much. Kaona, what's wrong with his lip ring. I kinda like it.

Yes, there are better images of him. Whether or not they select them is another matter.

I think I'm going to read the manga to understand the anime better as suggested.

I guess my comment was just the conservative mom side of me coming out (currently listening to 7 year old son with shoulder length hair trying to convince his little sister he should be Sesshoumaru for Halloween and she should be Jaken). Anyone sew Sessy costumes out there?

I guess Bonten really couldn't hang the copper water chain earring from his nose...too girly Eastern Indian, and it would interfere with his pretty eyes if it dangled from his brow....yeah, okay, lip is acceptable...but I still like him better when he wakes up without it!

I think I see reflections of the current economy with the hesitation to shell out the big bucks for rilezu right now. Considering the prices and what they will be worth in a year (I'm using SM as an example), it makes me very hesitant to buy.

please take pictures if you find someone who will make the costumes for you!

i know there are people on ebay that make costumes... do a search for haloween costumes and itll come up with some.
aw man i cant believe haloween is right around the corner.

feels like we just had the fourth of july.

If anything, she should be Rin, if he is Sesshy.

I wonder if the economy is why they are asking so much more than before? Things sure are crazy lately.
