It can be confusing when the accompanying photos are of the official product but the item you would receive is a bootleg.
However I knowingly bought a bootleg resin model because it was cheap. It features
Mai Shiranui from King Of Fighers.
From what I remember the official one costs over $200, the one I bought cost me $40. The quality was obviously not 100% as the paintjob was rushed. I'm disappointed knowing that it's not the 'real deal', it niggles me. At the time the cheap price balanced out this feeling but I wished I waited until I could afford the official product.
Buying knock-offs isn't a habit of mine, I'm keen to buy official gashapon and figures from my favourite companies whenever possible. Medicom, (for example) look great because the quality is always there and I like to own these for their 'authentic collectors piece' status. Their dolls are often imitated but these don't quite cut the mustard.
My advice: BUY THE GENUINE PRODUCTS
