Hey guys! Just giving you all a quick note that all orders will be shipped out around Tuesday/Wednesday since the hurricane is going to be hitting the Houston area tonight. And electricity will probably be out for a few days, let alone stores actually being open. 100 mph winds in Houston (not to mention galveston is going to get hit head on).

Well... I am sure most of you know this by now, but almost everyone in Houston does not have power. The news is saying that alot of the power will take 2-3 weeks to restore completely. Only the downtown area and the I think part of the medical center has power right now. Medical something.. I forgot what the news said. @_@ I have family down there so I have been watching the news like a hawk. HAHA
So.. if you are expecting packages, then please understand it may take more than a few days for them to be shipped out. I could be wrong.. you never know... Thought I would say something though. @_@

Yay!!! did your home suffer any damage?star-phoenix wrote:Hey guys. We managed to get some internet access for about an hour a day with a working generator, although, there is no electricity for the past week and we were told it could take another 2 weeks. I am located in CA right now. So, I can still answer e-mails.

Well, we had some minor cosmetic damage and roof damage, and a tree feel int he yard. One of our other houses had part of the roof ripped off and water soaked the inside, and the deck was damaged. There were a lot of houses in our neighborhood that had a lot of trees land on them. One house had the entire side ripped out (there were apparently some tornadoes too). And these are large brick homes (4-7 bedroom homes). So, they were definitely very strong homes, but the winds over there were apparently 100-110 mph. So, there was a lot of damage to say the least. There is no power in the area yet, and the post office is still closed. But, some other neighborhood PO's just opened up. So, the packages were sent out over there.
