Me too! My computer is 8 years old and still working beautifully. I have no plans on upgrading any time soon. I will be getting a laptop next year in addition to my desktop but I don't plan on doing any web surfing with it as I have other specific reasons for getting it.

Yep, that it does. Actually, I'm intrigued by the number of folks that still have 1024 x 768.. here I thought that was on the way out! Guess I was wrong!
I run google analytics on my campus's website since tracking what resolutions people are using has always been an interest. Here's the top ten resolutions for the last month (44,730 Absolute Unique Visitors ).
I'm still getting a surprising number of visitor's using 800 X 600 (1 out of 5 different people). More often it's from visitors outside of the U.S., Europe and Japan.
But by mid-next year I think I'll completely dump the 800 X 600 standard (excluding the front page page because I have NO graphics skilz whatsoever ).
