"Welcome To The Jungle"...Music Fun

Post by Ms. Poe »

Well, I thought this would be a fun lil thing to do...

You ever find yourself listening to music, and just want to blurt a great lyric out to someone...Well, this is the thread to do it!

Any genre, ANY lyric. Try not to post whole songs, let's try to keep this down to no more than a verse. Feel free to even post naughty lyrics...We don't discriminate here ;)!

Remember to cite your quote! Band & Song Name! If you have a lyric in anything other than English, try to post the translation as well!

So I'll go ahead and start:

"Welcome To The Jungle.." Guns n' Roses/Welcome To The Jungle

Have Fun!

There's room at the top they are telling you still,
But first you must learn how to smile as you kill,
If you want to be like the folks on the hill,
A working class hero is something to be.
A working class hero is something to be.

Verse #4
Working Class Hero - John Lennon - 1970
"Like the wind crying endlessly through the universe, Time carries away the names and the deeds of conquerors and commoners alike. And all that we are, all that remains, is in the memories of those who cared we came this way for a brief moment." Harlan Ellison

Then I thought "Who gives a damn?"
If all the jobs are gone
I'm gonna be a pirate
On the river Saskatchewan!

But not all of them are.

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

First we get some surgery,
Lose the kids then our identities.
But one thing I know for a fact,
Moustache stays right where it's at

A couple of the sound that I really like
Are the sounds of a switchblade and a motorbike
I'm a juvenile product of the working class
Whose best friend floats in the bottom of a glass
