What do you need?

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Here go my answers, they are not that personal so i can share with everybody.
Your age? Look at my profile
Gender? Look at my profile
Ethnicity? Won't asnwer this but my profile will give you an idea
How did you get into anime? Watching TV when i was younger
How long have you been a fan? Probably since i was 12-13 years old. I mean, since the TV on my country started airing them, and with this i don't mean the typical dragon ball series.
What attracted you to anime? It was way much more interesting than the typical US/European cartoons at the time. Basically Anime doesn't always have the premise of "Animation is for children" that becomes very usual in western countries. Anime also allows many things that would be difficult or impossible to make in live action.
What are your favorite genres? Many types, Romantic (but not too girly), medieval, action (but not the gundam style). I have many really. I'm not ussually picky. I prefer series with well thought plots, that's why i ussually tend to enjoy more series based on novels than series that are based on original scripts or mangas (although there are good ones here too). Character development is always nice but now series are ussually shorter, and it's more difficult to find it.
How do you interact with other anime fans you consider friends? The same as other people. Never considered "Anime people" any different from normal people. With "Anime people" i can just share my hobbies, but nothing that special.
Do you consider yourself different from non-anime fans, and if so, how? Not at all. See previous answer. I mean, i don't like rock or jazz while many of my friends do like them, but that doesn't make me feel different from them.
What kinds of anime-related activities/hobbies do you partake in? Not that many. I collect cels from very few series and get the dvds from series i like most. For music i mostly download it.
What do you do at anime conventions? There are not many of those in my country but in the few i used to attend i went to spend my money, collect my goods and leave. Yes, conventions used to be for me just a big shop (wal-mart) for anime. Now internet "takes care" of me.
Where do you get most of your anime, manga, and other anime-related goods? Online. Auctions, Amazon, Right-Stuff and similar.
How do you keep current with the goings-on of the anime-fan community? Basically from what I read on forums. I don't ussually go after the source. If some new series is released and i have not read about it on any forum i'll probably see it in torrent sites.

I've been pulling my hair out cramming for exams and thinking about this paper and I've decided to shift the focus more on cel collecting. Yay! If you've got the time,
Please give me a few reason WHY you collect cels. Is it the beauty, the storyline, the characters, SD moments, etc. What is it about these things that attract you to it?
Thanks!!!
