Can I post this in Rubberslug?

For the n00bs of cel collecting and production art . . . and for some of us old-timers, too. Post your questions on anything that puzzles you.

Can I post this in Rubberslug?

Post by MidniteKitten »

Pretty soon I'll be acquiring some 35mm film cells. I know "cell" is in the title but would I be able to display these in my Rubberslug?

They're still collectible production pieces from a film but not necessarily artwork as they aren't part of the production process and only part of the workings of getting a movie to display in theater.

So my question is, is it ok to display these in my Rubberslug under a category of 35mm cells?

I haven't really looked for them, but do people post chromo cels? They are machine produced and not even unique. Perhaps your film would fall under that sort of category?

I have seen people post chroma-cels in galleries and I guess the assumption your implying makes sense. When they come in I'll se what I can do about scanning and arranging them.

Thank you

To my knowledge, as long as the bulk of your collection are production art related, you can display a few of them.
