Ah... I can sell my nominations. That's a change I like. For now, I will only include a picture and a sentence on them. Hopefully it will jog someone's memory. ^.^
Alright, first up is Subaru from .Hack//Sign.
The strong and proud leader of the Crimson Knights, who aids and assists the heroes greatly.
Next is, Nemu Kurotsuchi from Bleach.
The artificially created, melancholic daughter and Assistant-Captain of Mayuri Kurotsuchi, Captain of 12th Division.
Now, Ayame Sohma from Fruits Basket.
The Snake of the Zodiac, Ayame is often eccentric, but cares about and frequently annoys, his younger brother, Yuki.
Finally, Kouyuu Ri from Saiunkoku Monogatari.
The directionally-challenged, easily irritated, Vice-Secretary of the Civil Affairs department who is also a genius.
Meanwhile, I'll use my 3rd second on Shikamaru from Naruto.
Also, I'm a bit surprised no one has nominated Fai D Flourite, Balmung, or Gin Ichimaru from Tsubasa, .hack, and Bleach respectively. I'd definately be willing to second any of them.

I'd like to take this opportunity to promote one of my character choices so that he may be seconded.
I'm selling Jean Pierre Polnareff from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

Polnareff has all the facets of an intriguing and unique character, unlike any I've seen in an anime before.
In the first series he is a vehicle for comedy relief, an important role for a series that's so intense and serious. He sets himself up as a cocky, image-conscious womaniser but we can see through this exterior and chuckle at his attitude and the situations he finds himself in. It's good to laugh and Polnareff gives us this opportunity without the scenarios appearing tacky or unbelievable.
The second prequel series shows how his personality was much darker and he was quite ruthless and arrogant- he was initially an enemy to the Joestar group, manipulated by their nemesis, Dio.
Despite these traits he was ultimately an honourable person, as demonstrated when he lost a battle with Abdul and chose to die without protest having lost to the better opponent. Fortunately Abdul saved him and the bond between these two grew strong. It's that sense of mental strength, justice and brotherhood that I find appealing.
It is exciting to see him develop from what may be considered 'all-out enemy fodder' into a multi-dimensional hero and inspirational member of the Joestar team.
His aim in life is to get revenge on the murderer who killed his sister and from that, we can gauge that he's a family-orientated man who wants to do 'the right thing'.
A handsome and physically strong person- like many of the characters in this macho story, he's also very emotional as he cries when his friends are injured/killed.
All these elements combined make him a fascinating character; he's a real human with strengths and flaws, someone we can all relate to which is why I'd like you to vote for him too.

I'll use my remaining "second" for Ayame from Fruits Basket
And I'll pimp my characters who still need seconds!
Lafiel - Crest of the Stars
Nothing like an genetically engineered princess with a temper...

Hisoka - Hunter x Hunter
Homicidal pedophile clown, anyone?

How do you plan to do this?

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
