You have to keep a few things in mind when buying rilezu. First, you didn't purchase a CG screen shot. You bought a rilezu. No matter how much we yearn for that exact, precise, perfecty colored image, what we are going to get is a cel paint and acetate interpretation of what is nearly represented in that screen shot.
Remember that the top image is not a cel - it was colored in a computer. It doesn't physically exist in real life. So, the cel produced from that image by a human with a bunch of bottles of paint won't ever be the exact color (unless you have an amazingly talented artist working on it).
The lower image, your rilezu, was created using a screen shot from the studio and given to the artist. So, there is a good chance the colors in your cel were similar to the actual screen shot. Different monitors, settings, scanners, and other variations that can change the colors of what we see on the computer. Even the lighting conditions of the anime will affect color (a lot of night and indoor scenes in VK).
Whenever I get a rilezu, I am always a little shocked about how bright or exposed the cel looks. Then I have to sort of step back and remind myself every one of them looks that way to me, so that is probably the norm of rilezu.
So far from what I've seen, the VK ones are coming out really nice. Yours is very pretty!

i think they did a wonderful job on the eyes! i know its not easy to paint eyes so it looks like the picture has a soul.

Wow, I see what another poster was talking about before when they said Rilezu look a bit bright. There is a difference between the Rilezu and screencap.
I'm still drooling over the previous posted ones, though.
To the original post, I actually think the color interpretation is pretty accurate. I haven't seen VK, but I do collect Larva from Vampire Miyu extensively. And his hair is a very similar color. That light blue often becomes gray-blue due to color wash-out on TV's.
