Pixie Princess is a socialist who collects cels from a series about a girl who commits acts of terrorism in the name of a Satanic religion that is based on the writings of Aleister Crowley (rhymes with "Holy" -- reverse the R and L and Crowley --> Clow Reed). Crowley is the evil genius that the demon-inspired Eastern religious masters are trying to entice American children to worship while playing with tarot cards and eating unhealthy foods associated with illegal immigrants.
If she wins, she will raise your deputy commissions and shipping fees, and try to spread your cels around, and make your kids watch so much Japanese TV that they will no longer be able to compete with Asian kids in math or even hockey.
Remember, pixie princess once said "I do not believe in God!" That's because she's a Muslim ... or a Buddhist ... or an Episcopalian. Or something. Anyhow she only goes to church because she's bitter, and owns guns for the same reason.

Heh. It worked to get the voting rate up in the general election, so why not here. And since Obama was elected by a landslide, I'm claiming an okase cel if pixie princess wins too!

You know, when I first saw that post, I read the first line and a few of the other lines and thought "What did I do?"
Then I read it all the way through and had a WTF moment followed by a good laugh. hehh.
Thats right people, I used to shoot poor defensless milk jugs with a BB gun when I was younger (a few times.) I also shot at people with high powered guns that had plastic ammunition with dyed liquid in them. And I laughed about it... thats right, I LAUGHED! BWAHAHAHAHA!!

Darn, I never win anything. I probably should pass up the Beta Awards 2008 this year too, as I've never won anything there either.
And the gallery I actually voted for also didn't win. (I'm always jinxing people over on the Beta Awards, too.) Sorry, HotIce, at least I enjoyed what you did and thought it was clever.
Anyhow my last-ditch campaigning managed to get one of my other faves into the runner-up list!

Should we do something similar next year, it should be posted in the "General Cels" section. It'd get a lot more traffic there. Though, that'd mean more competition . . .hmmm . . . maybe we should just post the voting in that section and keep the entry-discussion in this one?
I'm guessing that the 100+ views were just people checking the stats.
