I occurs to me that I have been so busy raving about the artwork of Bake Neko and Mononoke that I haven’t said anything about the character of the lead!

Oopsie!

Let me vote for him now

1. Medicine Seller - Bake Neko / Mononoke

And I’ll put up a clip from Bake Neko:

A bride is murdered by an unseen force on the threshold of her own home just as she is leaving for her wedding. As the porters wait outside, unconcerned; pandemonium erupts inside. The Medicine Seller has been tied up and is being detained as a “suspicious person” having arrived at the estate just before this strange occurrence (surprise )…

After a servant who was sent outside is discovered to have also been brutally killed, our hero drops the pretense of being held bound by the ropes, and gets to work dealing with this mononoke (demon)…in his own inimitable, high-handed style!

Fans of traditional Japanese theatre arts will love how he directly addresses his audience and “cuts a mie” (strikes a pose) at the end!

Selling the following characters:

Deedlit - Record of the Lodoss War


Deedlit is an immortal High Elf from the forests of Lodoss. As the country falls into disarray, she is being targeted for sacrifice by the villain Wagnard as a means to resurrect Kardis (the goddess of destruction). She joins a motley crew of people who are attempting to stop the resurrection of Kardis and falls in love with a young human named Parn. Even though he is very thick-skinned and sometimes does not appear to return her affection, she still stays with him and helps him fight for Lodoss.





Hisoka - Hunter x Hunter


Hisoka is a 27 year old male who, while dressing like a clown, actually considers himself to be somewhat of a magician and often uses playing cards as weapons. He also changes his hair color and outfits periodically. In their cut-throat world of bounty hunters, he is among the most vicious - he takes pleasure in battling against strong opponents and enjoys killing people. Hisoka has a sick fascination with Gon (the protagonist) and is always trying to fight him. He enjoys watching Gon get stronger; once Gon is old/strong enough Hisoka plans to kill him in a spectacular fashion.
He does not pick sides (good or evil), but will go with whomever has the strongest opponents of offer him.
