No! It's not a lame attempt. It's very good. I'm happy to see one of the constant top characters get advertised. I'm curious why some of the characters that have been getting a lot of votes should get that many. I mean, I have nothing against Kenshin but I personally don't see what's so great about him. Sadly, no one is telling me either.

So thanks for getting in the spirit of promoting instead of just voting.

It's not required but selling is my favorite part to see what people say and do to get the votes.

(Can you tell I was just recently asked why I rated Kenshin so low? Hey, I gave it a 7 out of 10. It's good. It's just not great. I'm a lover not a fighter.

I'm with ya on Kenshin DT. I don't get it either. Now Sasuke....I totally get.

Kind of Funny..I don't like Sasuke and I like Kenshin.... :hitting:

and I don't get Sasuke...I get Itachi though....

Kenshin is just adorable.....and Sasuke is just the opposite, so I guess it depends on taste...

It all follows a formula:
*Guy is kind, sometimes is serious, can be deadly, has cute moments, is a a goof, does not like to fight= Vash, Kenshin...and some others
*Guy has a mean brother/family member that is out to kill him..Has emo moments, is skill full, but sometimes someone better comes along, making him angry and wanting more power, likes to fight.....= .....

I'll vote for: Woot!!!!

Yeah, my comment was more of a nudge to get people to sell even if they have a character with a lot of votes.

I know exactly why I love Sasuke and think Kenshin is just okay.

For me, the silent nice guy who turns out to be a cold-blooded killer but doesn't really want to be one anymore is a bit of a snoozer. I guess that's why I dissolved my Kenshin collection and am working on dissolving my Trigun collection.

However, I totally fall for the hot looking emos.

Some hard core emos I don't like. But I find the emo storyline to be so intriguing. It's always interesting to learn why a character went emo.

Seemed weird to me to sell Motoko Kusanagi and Alucard. since they are doing so well, but when they are the only 2 left of my 5 nominations, maybe I should. But if anyone wants to help me sell them it would be appreciated... there's a reason I'm not in retail/sales ^_^,

Hey, that description fits Balsa perfectly as well. Also, the studio (Production I.G.), the director (Kenji Kamiyama) and the art director (Yusuke Takeda) are the same ones who did Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. I may very well vote for Motoko in some of the final rounds, depending.

Yeah, that's why I was commenting on it. I wanted everyone to realize that just because your character is doing well now doesn't mean they will in the future. Kenshin did awesome up until the final round in the manga threads. He didn't get enough votes to make it to the last round. If I'm remembering correctly, all the characters that made it were promoted.
