Considering the size difference between the two species, I am having trouble even picturing it. 8O

At first I was thinking gerbil, but the description of his injury in the article rules that out. :?

“I was so ashamed to go to a normal clinic to discuss sexual problems that I was ready to try anything"...but now he chats freely to the press about his tryst with a hedgehog? I don't know - sounds kinda like a National Enquirer story, to me. :P

I recall reading somewhere that "The Sun" is like the UK's equivalent of "The National Enquirer", so, take this story with a grain of salt...

Ya, I don't know if this story has any truth to it, but I'm pretty sure its physically impossible. Hedgehogs are so small, all he was doing was probably poking it in the back (which would explain his injuries).

Sorry, but it's a tabloid, so the story's bogus. :P I got that fake feel the moment I clicked the link in the first post.

The Sun is trash, as most UK people will tell you XD.

I think most people only read it for the sports section in the back or the Page Three nude models (contrary to the belief of some, the naked women in the newspaper is a Sun thing, not an "all British newspapers" thing. That's like assuming every US newspaper has the content of the National Equirer, lol. -> mild pet peeve XD). The actual news articles themselves are extremely sparse on the actual content, you can read them in 30 seconds lol. Typically they're badly written, the language is aimed at a 7 year old level, and it's extremely inflammatory (the infamous, inappropriate "Gotcha" headline about the sinking of an Argentine sub, in which there was a sadly high death toll, for example).

As an aside, I remember catching a trainee Jesuit priest reading The Sun once in the philosophy library of my all-girls school XD. I was like, "Woah... that's kind of unholy of a holy man... O_o"

Next time read something really good like The Independant or even the Guardian instead..?

Yay for (presumably) no hedgehogs actually being harmed. I finally clicked on this thread in apprehension and morbid curiosity... the title is just so "wtf?" LOL :P. Well done ^.<

It is fun to note, however, that 'journalistic' poor taste recognizes no borders. :^^:
