Rubberslug question...

So...
My gallery died with AOL Hometown, and I'm looking for anew place to stay. I think Rubberslug would be a nice option, but I have a question about it:

is there anyway to upload artwork besides 1 at a time? Any way to do FTP or something like it?

Nope. One at a time is your only option. It works for me, since I write a lot of commentary for my cels, but I can see how it would be a pain for other people . . .

As far as I know, it's one at a time. It's okay for people like me who built their RS site when RS was new and I was new to collecting. I didn't have a whole bunch to load at once. That's why you'll see people uploading cels and then few hours later come back and upload some more. Of course, we all know others just want to be "on the front page".

Well, Rubberslug may still be the most convenient option. I had been resisting for old time's sake mostly... well, you know what they say; you can never go home again!

Do five a day and let it take as long as it takes.

Years ago that is how I did it and it was fairly entertaining for everyone, especially the ones that didn't really believe I had much of a collection, and it wasn't too bad to do just a few every day.

I was done in just over a month back then, but now ?

Ouch, after all of the work you must have put into it, I'm sorry that you lost your gallery.

I think that the most time consuming thing for newbies on RS is the scanning, so you're already way ahead of the game. The site is incredibly easy to use, so even having to upload one scan at a time, it shouldn't take you very long...but as DT and Glorff said, you can always opt to do just a few at a time. Or...you can get all of your images up in a hurry, and then go back later to fill in details like sequence numbers and size.
