Vampire Knight Guilty Final Episode

What did everyone think? Obviously it got a bit ahead of the manga and there were some differences. I was quite pleased with the ending.

Is episode 13 out already?

I watched 12 last night. Of course, I just got back home last night and completely filled my downloader. I could have easily missed an episode.

ive gotten into the habbit of watching it right when it comes out w/ no subs but this time i HAVE to watch it with the subs. lol

ugh. cant believe its the final episode.

I don't know about subbed yet. I watched the RAW version since I can understand bits and pieces having watched these shows for so long.

I will probably watch it again once it's been subbed which will probably be next weekend at the rate they move.

Ah, I thought you might be talking about the RAWs. I have so much I'm trying to watch that I don't have time to add RAWs into my viewing. I'll just wait for next weekend. Gotta finish up D.Gray-man.

And only 8 more episodes left for KKM3! Talk about slow fansubbing.

But I'm happy they are being done.

D.gray-man was great! I was bummed they stopped it, but at least the manga still comes out here and there.

And at least they ended the series in a good way. KKM is slow isn't it?

I'm enjoying it. I thought I was an Allen fan but then Lavi showed up. The last 2 episodes I watched were all about Allen. I got bored. I actually started falling asleep on episode 70.

It's the episode Allen got his innocence back.

You probably could have guessed way ahead of time I'd like Lavi considering I'm a HUGE Duo fan.

Okay, I was able to pull myself away from D.Gray-man long enough to watch the final episode of VKG today. First, as much as I like Shoku-dan's subs, I have to get this one gripe out. SLOW DOWN YOUR SUBS!!!

I can't read that fast. Whew, I feel better now.

Anyway, I liked the ending. I've read online a lot of people who hated the ending. I don't think they are taking into consideration that the manga isn't finished yet. It's kind of like Inuyasha. Not everything can get wrapped up tightly. I LOVED that

Yuki went off to be with Kaname.

I've been rooting for him since last season. However, I wanted Zero to die by Yuki drinking all of his blood. It would be a much nicer death than her shooting him like they agreed. I'm not a Zero hater but I don't like him that much. I liked him in the first season but then his character took a bad turn for me and never recovered.

I also loved that Aido finally admitted he liked Kaname since so long ago he claimed he hated him. It was very sweet to see the main 3 "side characters" walk off into the sunrise with Kaname and Yuki.

I'm interested in what's going to happen in the manga. I just bought volume 2 because I know I'm going to want to keep this series and read it over and over again.

aw man that ending just broke my heart!!!

ok yeah i admit im a zero/yuuki fan. i do want them together but yeah maybe she's better off with kaname right now. i mean theyre still kids (technically speaking) so there's time in the future. i just wish zero hadnt been left all alone. and i so wish that this isnt the end of the story. im really glad the manga is still going on though. and i see that the last issue ended with the same ending (sorta).

hey DT, where did you get your manga from? i want to order one too.

I know what y'all mean about Zero. I have a love/hate thing with him. I felt so sorry for him though. What also bugs me still, which I mentioned in the manga thread of this show, is....

Why must Zero kill Yuuki? Before the whole mess happened, vampires and humans were living fine together and there was a council to watch over things. Yuuki and Kaname have done nothing wrong so why is Zero going to kill her next time? Zero won't become a level E now so why would Yuuki kill him? That's the part that drives me nuts.

I guess I was just hoping that Yuuki could move to the night class and all would be right with the world so Zero wouldn't be left alone.

I know....I'm boring and delusional. I just want everyone to be happy which never happens in anime.

What I'm also bummed about is that in the manga Zero and Yuuki share a kiss. They didn't in this episode.

And leaving the chairman who loves her. So so so sad. I love how he threatens Kaname within an inch of his life should Yuuki not be happy though.

I also love how all the side characters stuck with Kaname. The only other thing I wonder is where is Ichijou? Shiki eluded to him possibly being alive? I wish the series would continue. I can only hope that the manga wraps it up a little better. I wish they'd be quicker about releasing the chapters though.

Ok....I'm done babbling. Can you tell I loved this series?

It looks like the next chapter of the manga is coming out on January 24th

So this makes me wonder if there going to continue with the show?

I agree with you, GK. I don't understand why

Zero wants to kill Yuki. I knew the deal they made if Zero went vampire but I don't remember if Yuki said ditto.

They should just let each other live in peace now.

You mean the actual books that I buy? I usually get them from Amazon because I get great deals from them. Plus because it's manga, I like knowing that my new manga is actually new and not read by someone inside the bookstore.

But I frequently pick them up at cons too. They have some awesome deals on the final day because they don't want to pack them up. There are 2 places I read them online. That's how I figure out which ones I really want to buy.

I doubt there will be another season. I think they're done but who knows? It could easily be like Fruits Basket.

The anime has you thinking Yuki still has a chance with Tohru but the manga ends quite differently.

Of course, it could always take the Inuyasha route and just make movies.

The manga and anime (to a certain extent) makes it clear that

Zero is truely, first and formost a Vampire hunter from a vampire hunter family....He has always said that he would rather kill Yuki that have her be/live as a vampire. He said this a lot- in the anime too- as she was developing her relationship with Kaname and at that time Zero did not know she was a purebrood

i didnt think of it that way.
and i have a feeling ...

that another reason why zero said that and yuuki agreed to it is becasue it gives him a will to live. that he is letting her go but he will again see her someday.

hopefully someday ill be able to go to a con. i bet they are so much fun.
