Wanted!: CCS Yukito and Yue cels :)

Post by Nintenpelican »

Hi everyone!

My name is Sarah and I have just joined your cool little community! :D

As you can see by the title I am looking to buy cels of Yukito or Yue from Cardcaptor Sakura. As long as they are reasonably nice. I've been checking yahoo jp etc. etc. but i thought I'd check out this place and see if there's anything.

I've just starting collecting cels.. lol bad time to start huh? You can see my collection if you click my website link. :)

So, if you have any lying around and need a quick buck give me a buzz! :P Of course you will have to be willing to accept paypal and ship to Aus. PM or email which ever if you have anything!

Thanks!

Welcome to beta! 8)

Good luck in your quest to find Yue, Yukito and Toya cels. It seems like most CCS fangirls are after them so pickings are slim. But there are a lot of collectors quitting, thinning out or just slowing down so maybe . . . I know I sold a few a little while back but sadly for you I have no plans of selling my remaining ones any time soon.

Your collection has a great start. Just be patient. I'm sure you'll have more than you ever dreamed of soon. :^^:
Can you hear this fangirl squee?!

Heh. You've got one of those "Do I detect a drop of rain?" cels from the Teddy Bear adventure. Congratulations! A fine collection begins with a dream and a good eye for well-composed, eye-worthy images, and so you're well begun. The rest is just vigilance, camping out at sales sites, watching certain auctions, being good friends so that you get first word of certain gallery offer moments, and in general being patient. The good cels will come in good time. It took me several years to get my first Yue/Touya cel, and that sat in solitary majesty in my #1 cel book until it was joined 5 years later by two more.

Yes, try out some other series, as there are lots of beautiful things still running around loose. But (as I've said before on this board) it's still a great time to be collecting CCS, as there's still a lot of inventory on the market, which keeps prices reasonable, and really really nice stuff continues to bubble up.

Just keep your credit card paid off and don't bid on an empty wallet, or your cels will fly to new homes quicker than you'd like.

Welcome, and let us know when there's more to admire in your gallery.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcomes! :) ...and the hints and tips.

I am having lot of fun collecting cels. The thrill of the hunt is exhilarating! I'm was sorta surprised how much CCS cels are still out there.. when I started I expected not to find anything.
I'm glad everyone loves my Yue and Sakura cel.. I still can't believe I got it.. a cel like that doesn't come up often! It's actually nicely framed on my wall :) And yes I do know all the ins and outs! Light etc.
LOL "Do I detect a drop of rain?" I take it your refering to his failed magic attempt X|

It's just that when he holds out his palm like that, with such an amazing show of British non-plussed-ness (IM, they do cover how to handle Dark-side giant teddy bears in "Magical defense spells 101" at Hogworts) that I can't look at any cel from this sequence without hearing Yue say this line.

Welcome to our board. I, too, am a fan of Yue....

Just keep your eyes peeled and you'll see some stuff. Nice cels of Yue are typically very pricey, so, if you're patient and save your money, you're sure to find something that you're looking for.

Welcome to cel collecting! Yue has been one of my favorite characters from the series, and finding a nice cel of Yue is EXTREMELY hard.

This cel took me years to find. I particularly love this cel because of the expression on his face. Definitely cost an arm for this one!

Welcome to Anime Beta! :hello Like everyone else has said, your gallery will grow in no time! I think the most important thing to do is get that wishlist created - with images and descriptions. It helps to keep you more focused in your collecting and if you set your collecting intentions you will attract the cels to you (lol maybe not, but I swear it works for me!). Also save your money. Don't spend money on lesser cels because you feel a little withdraw or you see everyone else updating. Save your money for the wishlist cels, because they WILL come along - and you want to be ready to place high bids and high offers if you need to! :box1: Seriously, nothing feels worse than not having the money to go after your wishlist cel, except maybe having to sell some of your other cels to pay for it. X|

Good luck!
