Fave anime character final round - poll closed

From what I recall of last round, HotIce, your images were no concern of mine. You followed the rules. I'm fully aware of the laughing man as I've seen GitS (& 2nd gig) as well as HnG.

To clarify more, no live action images. I specifically asked someone to remove a live action promotion and they did. Thank you again. No manga images. The manga is a different medium from the anime. We're not here to compare the two. No merchandise. I'll always let DVD covers slide but figures are not allowed. Your images can be altered as they can be fairly creative. Sticking the anime character's image on the head of a real person is fine because you're using the anime image. Captioning included with your anime images are awesome. I'm totally enjoying reading those provided they are not going against beta rules. And the sparklies were completely cracking me up last time.

Most everyone has done an awesome job and kept this game fun. The new rules are a safeguard against a couple of mishaps that the involved parties are aware of.

Thanks! It is a lot of hard work, especially for those promoting their characters. Not everyone will be happy with the outcome of things sometimes because one or two people get carried away. It happens in the best of families.

Thank you for clearing things up DT! You really had me worried there for a second that I was going against the rules last round, and thats not the way I wanted Motoko to win!

I'll say that I hope the people who PM'ed me about feeing a bit attacked by some of the things said in this thread already will reconsider their actions and continue to help me promote Motoko, she needs all the help she can get against someone as cute as Sai!

I actually saw it sooner, but the extra time must have went towards finding the right Phibrizzo, finding the Ghost in the Shell screenshot and the Photoshop editing. I've had to find some episodes, too, since I can't seem to locate decent GitS screenshots anywhere...

Got my vote for Sai in!

One more quick rule to add. Anyone found slandering either of these characters will have 5 votes taken away from their character. We need to keep things pleasant. Everyone has different tastes in characters. This is NOT personal. This is just for fun.

I have a feeling I was the source of that little rule. Sorry y'all. I had made a comment to be somewhat funny/sarcastic. Sometimes I get betrayed by my mouth. I won't be doing that again. Tell ya what...I'll blame it on my flu meds.

For those who feel the rules were directed at them like myself.....no big....just vote and have fun. The rules are perfectly fair. Don't take them personally. I think DT has done such a wonderful job with these contests for both anime and manga characters. It certainly has made things a lot more interesting lately. I love reading everyone's sales pitches.

Ahhh, yeah, you definitely made much cooler pics than me. Mine was much easier, as I really don't know anything about photoshop.

I found a youtube video, took a screencap, saved it in paint, cropped it in photoshop, uploaded to photobucket, added text and voila. That's about as creative as I can get.

But I am slowly learning to animate from you're tutorial.
