Superbowl Commercials

Post by Goldknight »

What did y'all think? I was very disappointed. Yeah there were the usual cute ones and a couple that gave you somewhat of a chuckle, but overall nothing really stood out. Very boring.

I hear ya KP. That was such a good game, but the first half killed the Cards. Mainly that interception at the end of the half. :hurt: Man what a game. 8O

I think I got the most enjoyment upon seeing:

1. the movie trailers G.I. Joe, Star Trek (a few new scenes), Year One, Transformers, Land of the Lost, etc.

2. The NBC Heroes vs. NFL commercial

3. Priceline - William Shatner in Your Ear

4. Cash4Gold commercial just because of who was in it.

The job search commercials kind of hit home too considering the job climate I'm going through right now.

"Hey dummy" :D

I think those were the most amusing for me.

Teleflora - "No one wants to see you naked!"

NBC LMAO Syndrome

GoDaddy - Danica Patrick. Mmmmmm.
Time is but an illusion. Lunch time...doubly so.

Loved the Game! 100 Yard Touch Down! Image and the Tippy Toe Catch at the end. When he just sat down with the ball, It looked like he was praying that his toes were inbounds.

I thought the commercials were alright... Image

But not that funny...

Don't get me started on that 100 yard touchdown. You can't tell me there weren't blocks in the back that weren't called. :redhot
On the other hand Kurt Warner shouldn't have tried to squeeze it in there. X|

The Doritos crystal ball commercial was funny. Loved the animal commercials, but they weren't as funny as usual.

All in all, I was disappointed with the commercials this year, and kind of tuned out after half time anyways.

After the game, my dad treated me to some nice Terry Tate clips on You Tube to alleviate the pain of those meager commercials...

However, I did have a chuckle at the Cash4Gold commercial as well.
