I have been jumping up and down when I saw this cel and actually was able to buy it! This cel is from the Silly Symphonies short Cookie Carnival (1935). The most impressive part of all is that it came with the original key master background and is completely preserved, un-restored, and absolutely stunning condition! I was completely floored when I saw this in person. The colors are even more vibrant in person than in the image! This will be it for my purchase for a while. I wrote a brief history log about the film's development. Hope everyone enjoys it.
Wow! Its gorgeous! I just now watched the Cookie Carnival on YouTube. I can't believe I've never seen it before. Its absolutely charming and now one of my favorite shorts ever done by Disney! Thank you so much for sharing this cel and video with us - even though it was pretty much the worst thing I could watch being on the South Beach Diet!
You should get it framed in a frame that looks like candy or a decorated cookie, if there is such a thing.
Wow, that is amazing. Silly Symphonies were my favorite when I was a kid. Particularly fond of the one with the brass music island and the string music island. Lovely Disney collection as always.
