Popularity Poll!

Post by kamidake »

Pretty self explanatory, please pick the character you think is the most popular and people are most likely to buy mechanize of. ^_^ I have a reason for doing this, I swear. ^^;

I'm interested in hearing the reason when you're finished with your poll. :wink:

I voted for Clef. I'm a big collector of his but I logically thought about it. While CCS is huge, I know a lot of people who avoid collecting Eriol. I do too but I have a cel of him. Kenshin is really popular but it seems most people go after Kenshin himself and steer away from Enishi. I like Nagi and have a cel of him but Weiss collectors tend to lean towards the main 4 guys. Or they go after Crawford and Schuldig if they collect from the 4 bad guys. The last series I don't know. I personally hated Mello and Near and other than GK, I currently don't know anyone who does like them.

But as far as MKR is concerned, Clef has a huge following which includes me. :D

Just my reasoning. :wink:

Thanks for voting! :D

Actually it's got nothing to do with cels (I know that itself is weird ;) ) I've been asked to make a custom plushie for the Charity Auction at Sakura Con this year. And I figure it's best to do one related to one of the GoH, after much deliberation, we decided either Sasaki Nozomu (VA for all the characters listed except Haibane) or Yoshitoshi ABe (creator of Haibane Renmei) Basically, I want to go with the most popular character that would win the most bids for the auction. ^_^

I actually haven't seen any of the series that are part of the poll.
It seems that people are pretty fanatic about Death Note, and since it was on TV I guess there are better chances of more people being into it.

I think your answer is none of the above.

If you want the most and highest bids you should go with a character that is widely loved, not one of you favorites :?

I voted for Eriol, because he was the only character I knew. :P

Hey, Nozomu Sasaki did Enishi as a little kid as well!
Yup, chibi Enishi had a way deeper voice than teenage Kenshin! :D

He also did Tetsuo in Akira...that would be a Wild plushie! And they just put out a new edition on Blu-ray! :wink:

I tend to think of him as Yūsuke from YYH :love: ...but there are already plushies of him...

I guess Death Note would be your best bet of the ones you've listed, though, as it is the newest. 8)

It seems to me that no matter which one you pick, if you could get the corresponding GoH to sign the plushie (on the bottom of the foot or somewhere else that won't detract from its looks) and pose for a pic with the winner, the number of bids might go considerably higher. :^^:

Well, unfortunately I have to go with a character either created or voiced by one of the GoH at Sakura Con this year. So it's not like I can just pick THE most popular character. (wish I could!)

We decided to go with Sasaki Nozomu or Yoshitoshi ABe because Yamaguchi Keppei is already autographing something else done by another artist. :\

Yup, that's what we're hoping for. ^_^ Although you've raised a good point, where to sign... ^^;
